5/15/25- I was in the ER between 12am and 4am, and the night staff were absolutely fantastic. They were kind, professional, and incredibly attentive. In a tough situation, they made me feel safe and cared for. This team truly deserves recognitionu2014and honestly, a raise. Thank you for everything.

Queen's hospital has saved my life. I have an unusual condition that was destroying my life. Dr. Hui and his team of other physicians, nurses, techs, PA, pre op, post op and everyone in between has done everything possible to make this happen. This has occurred years and years after searching from childhood to find what was wrong. I worked in California in Healthcare for most of my adult life. No one could figure it out and often told me that I was the problem. Since coming to Queens hospital that simply does not happen. I had a set back and had to return for a follow up. I was so terribly frightened that my condition was returning and would be untreatable. Heather, an RN in pre op, Wilhel the aid, Dr. Hui and the rest of the team that day were beyond kind. The focused help and attention got me to calm down and get through. They did not judge me nor ridicule me. Instead, they met me where I was and talked me through. It was amazing. I love Hawaii island but Queens is my medical home.

Took my sisters vitals in the beginning and then tried to send her home with antibiotics after taking her blood. I had to beg for them to take her blood and check her vitals as she was feeling weak and cold. From my understanding they do not have enough nurse on staff. The nurse on call was definitely overwhelmed. They need to provide more staff.

Queens suck now the facility is dirty not as clean as before liken70s and 80s.house keeping don't come in as often I have to clean my sisters room myself wipe her eating table and sanitize it . Family members are not able to stay over because of houseless ppl are taking advantage so it screws everything up your family has to be in bad condition in order to stay over well my sister needs help because she's blind and sometimes needs help and she has to wait along time and when I go to visit everyone is just sitting or laughing talking story or on there phones. Now between queens and palimomi has better service, food and facility is good and cleaned all the time.

The staff, the organization and the hospital itself was amazing. Everyone made me feel at ease before my surgery (Iwas nervous). I also wanted to send out a special review to an amazing surgeon peter deptula. Thankyou for everything! HIGHLY RECOMMEND not only this surgeon but this hospital and everyone that took the time to care for me. I wasn't just a patient to kick out the door, I felt welcomed and everything exceeded my expectations.
