Doctor didnu2019t listen, totally heard what he wanted to hear, and prescribed me ALLERGY nasal spray you can buy at any store followed by saying it was most likely the flu. Not planning on prescribing me anything else if flu came back positive either. I was swabbed twice for the same thing and the best part is i have never met more a more miserable person then the lady i encountered at the front desk. all around horrible experience ud83dude0d

I am dealing with a chronic illness. My last visit, I decided to go to the student health to receive fluids. I called beforehand to make sure they provided this service, because I would have gone to the ER instead if they did not. After waiting 3 hours to be seen by the doctor, I was told to eat crackers and drink water. I had to threaten leaving before I was given fluids. (The fluids are part of my treatment plan given my cardiologist at Ruby Memorial Hospital.) After receiving my bloodwork, it had shown I was dehydrated before having fluids. It was in incredibly frustrating to have waited 3 hours and be told to u201ceat some crackersu201d, meanwhile my bloodwork had proved I needed fluids and cardiologist had told me they are a great option when I am in a symptom flare-up. I am not sure if the physicians there have less training than at the hospital, but it was a very upsetting process to receive simple help. The staff was very rude and I would recommend just going to Ruby if you need help.

Iu2019ve had to go here many times for many reasons, and the medical staff has always been greatu2026but many times Iu2019ve called ahead about needing something done and I was told I could just walk in rather than needing to schedule an appointment. Then when I get there (I have to take the PRT or Bus) Iu2019m told u201cnope, you need to make an appointmentu201d wasting my time as a student making the trip up to be told I have to come back. Erica is very pushy about needing appointments, so I donu2019t know if the people Iu2019m speaking to just want to save the time of making an appointment or if they donu2019t want to work me in as a walk in but itu2019s very frustrating.nIf you call and they offer a walk in, get the persons First and Last name so that you can back yourself up when you go in, or make an appointment anyways.
