Iu2019m a little afraid to post this because if the doctor dismissed my symptoms in person, itu2019s probably easy to brush me off in a Google review too.nnI came here because I received great care in summer 2024 when I came in for abdominal pains. I was referred for an MRI of the liver, which thankfully found no abnormalities there but it did catch cysts in the ovaries and pelvis. That eventually led to a full diagnosis and surgery to remove cysts, fibroids, and endometriosis in Feb 2025.nnFast forward to May 2025 and my pain is back and worse than ever, so I was hoping to referred for more imaging. It was 7:30 pm and I was in the most pain of any period in my life, so not ideal to wait for a gynecologist appointment. Telling the doctor I was on my period was a mistake. He said that because it was during my period and because applying pressure to parts of my body I highlighted produced no *additional* pain, he would not order imaging. I asked if the endo could have spread down my leg where I was having exploding/electric pain. He explained that it was basically impossible for it to leave my abdominal/pelvic area, u201cunless itu2019s really aggressive or is cancerousu201d. Yeah? Thatu2019s why I want the imaging. But he refused and said I could go to the ER, but that they wouldnu2019t do imaging either. My husband was sitting there and asked u201cWhat if itu2019s not related to the period?u201d And the doctor said that would indeed be different but because Iu2019d already said I was on my period, it wouldnu2019t be ordered. And there was this strange part at the end of our convo, where it sounded like he was going to order one after all? I was so surprised and said thank you. I was thinking weu2019d gotten it after all. But then he didnu2019t? Baffling. He also rolled his eyes at me so many times during the conversation I was sure I was an inconvenience more than anything. I just felt embarrassed for even coming. But I do need to highlight that with the pain killer injection that was administered, I honestly did feel better within about 15 minutes. The doctor looked pleased that it was working, but almost in a u201cI knew itu201d sort of way? Like heu2019d seen this a hundred times and I was just another woman who canu2019t handle the pain. It DID help the pain, but I know this isnu2019t normal. There is no way that what Iu2019m experiencing is normal. I should not have EXPLODING PAIN in my leg, especially with a history of endo and surgery to remove it.nnBut Iu2019m glad I came here, ultimately. For the prescription pain killer, and for helping me realize Iu2019m going to have to lie about my period in order to be taken seriously at the next place. This has helped me learn that it is not safe to admit your full medical history, because of how it can be used against you.nnFront desk staff, nurse, and medical student there are all amazing.

Iu2019m actually baffled at how great this place is. In and out in 25 minutes with an x-ray and knowledgable doctor confirming no broken wrist. We went here when they first opened and I remembered thinking they were a gem. Our family has hit up INOVA urgent care a couple times since then and they were really nice and slowly did a good job but this place is the gold standard. Iu2019m glad I remembered it this time!

Exceptional care from an outstanding doctor! Dr. Mahdi is truly a gem. His vast experience and expertise are evident in the way he listens, diagnoses, and treats his patients. I came in with food poisoning (Costco Kirkland eggs at the time there was a callback)nWhat struck me most, however, was his kindness, gentleness, and genuine caring nature. He made me feel amazing with the IV and addressed all my concerns with compassion. If you're looking for top-notch urgent care, look no further! Dr. Mahdi is the best! 5/5 stars

Excellent experience - I was able to schedule an appointment online, do the check-in on my phone, and we were in and out within 30 minutes. Dr. Mahdi was very kind and attentive towards my child, and we will definitely return to this Urgent Care for future needs!

Very highly recommended! Two very experienced doctors work here and are comfortable treating a range of illnesses and injuries. As far as I can tell, here you'll always be seen by a doctor, unlike nearby Urgent Care centers which mostly staff nurse practitioners. This center is highly capable to do blood draws, vaccinations, IVs, etc; the website also mentions radiology, although I haven't had a need to use that service.
