The nurses at the HCA Lake Monroe Hospital are it's strongest assets. The nurses I interacted with were very nice, professonal, and helpful. Special mention of RNs Takeisha, and Yvonne who watched over me while I was in bed 378-1 and the RNs who cared for me while I recovered in ICU -10, were exceptional! The CNAs, or Techs as they are called, were great too. I give all of them a 5+ rating!nnThe doctors on the other hand were hit and missoverall are not very patient friendly. Most of them rush with explanations and do not answer questions fully. You have to ask questions multiple times. Because ot the nurses I give a 4.

Saying my experience here was horrible, is a gross understatement. I was thrashing on the floor, yelling in absolute agony and vomiting due to the pain in my kidney, for around 3 hours. They would not give me enough pain meds to make the pain tolerable. It seemed equivalent to one Advil. But the staff was friendly, doctors seemed thorough, facility was nice and clean, floors especially. So give this place a try if youu2019d like to experience a sliver of what hell feels like.

While being treated at this hospital I contracted Mersa in my nose and on my lip that I never had before. They tried to release me early even while I was still contagious. While all this was going on I complained about my groin area have itchiness and redness. It took almost 7 days before they gave me anything for it. It has now developed into staph infection. I highly recommend never going to this hospital. Never went to a hospital and come back with another infection.

I'm a physician who thought he had an acute DVT in the left leg. The staff did not realize I was an M.D. until the end of my visit. It was a very complete and rapid evaluation. I've been in many ERs as a doctor, and have never seen a better. Great work

One of the best professionals Iu2019ve ever met! They provided exceptional care, giving their best effort while maintaining a calm and friendly demeanor that truly put the patient at ease. I highly recommend them and feel fortunate to live close to this ER.
