Managed to slice my hand open helping a friend (doing something dumb, naturally). It looked gnarly enough that I figured Iu2019d end up spending half the day in an ER waiting room surrounded by coughs and regret. Instead, I rolled into FastMed in Clayton, and honestly, it turned out to be the most fun Iu2019ve ever had while bleeding.nnThe front desk had me checked in and settled in less time than I sat on hold with the VA medical center. The nurses and medical assistants? Absolutely hilarious. Iu2019m talking stand-up comedy meets medical professionalism. They kept the vibe light with some top-tier banter while making sure my hand didnu2019t fall off. Chris and Cory were laid-back and full of solid advice (plus a few jokes I probably shouldnu2019t repeat here).nnFour sutures and a deluxe purple wrap job later, I walked out feeling more patched-up and appreciated than I ever expected. If you want fast, competent care and a comedy show, this is the spot. Just maybe try not to slice off your thumb first.

Came in for what I thought was an ear infection. First time at this location, the woman at the front desk was very helpful and got me checked in very quickly with no problem. I did not have to wait long either to be seen. The nurse was very nice and talkative. The doctor came in shortly after and was very knowledgeable on what was wrong. If your looking for fast and friendly service, I recommend going here if you are in the area.

Recently needed urgent care for what I suspected was an ear infection after a bout with the flu. Tried to go to several u2018name brandu2019 hospital affiliated urgent care facilities in the Clayton area. Important to note, I was trying to go about 2 hrs before closing on a Monday eve. Walked in to 2 that stated they were not accepting any additional patients that evening and called 2 others with same response. Looked up FastMed. Was able to book an online u201cIu2019m on my wayu201d reservation. I was immediately checked-in by office staff, completed a few questionnaires on a tablet, then seated. Less than 5 min later I was in a room with a very kind nurse. After answering her questions, I waited less than 5 minutes for Dr Corey to come in. He was patient, interested in my aches & pains, did a thorough and gentle examination of ear, glands, and facial sinus areas.nnConfirmed I had a middle ear infection, discussed antibiotic options, as well as when I should feel better, prompted me to call back if I wasnu2019t feeling better within 48 hrs (stressed this so he could prescribe a different RX). Shared his schedule to ensure I would call back if needed. Called in RX, then wished me well and I was out the door.nnLess than 30 minutes from start to finish. Kind staff from receptionist to nurse to Dr. Iu2019m kind of a big hospital snob (shame on me), but I learned a lesson with this visit. Highly recommend Fast Med in Clayton Blvd, Clayton.

Great checkin pleasant registration rep. Quick service to be called back. Triage was pleasant as well. Provider was pleasant clear and well spoken. He was very thorough and friendly. I appreciate his concern about how I should proceed taken my current allergy medication. Now the office needs an upgrade for the waiting room and urgent care rooms.

Visited this FastMed for a preemployment drug screen. The experience from walk-in to walk-out was nothing short of incredible. The staff at check-in were friendly, kind, supportive and helpful. The back staff were the same type of staff with utmost professionalism. The entire process was quick and easy. Greatly appreciated. Would recommend to anyone.
