Amy PA is phenomenal she has always been so great to me and taken care of my needs immediately. However, calling the office, which is what Iu2019m doing now, Iu2019ve been on hold for now 20 mins all I got was a u201chighland urgent care hold pleaseu201d and thatu2019s itu2026..still on hold as we speak. I called on my other phone just in case if they forgot about me, same thing. That is a bit ridiculous. Iu2019ve worked front office of a busy clinic and had never had my patients waiting 20 mins, I would at least check in.nUpdate: now at 30 mins still no answer just on hold.nFinally answered at 32 mins, and she was super nice I wonu2019t lie! But dang yall gotta get her more help up there, thatu2019s a long time to wait and it was something I could NOT do on the portal.nUpdate to the owner: You should get off google reviews and help your people up front then instead of trolling someone who has contributed to your business for years. SMH. Glad Iu2019m leaving this office.

I have been going to this doctor's office for almost 10 years and I always have a positive experience here. The entire staff, from the receptionists to the nurses to the doctors, are all extremely helpful and always make you feel at home. Dr. Nick is a wonderful doctor who is equally knowledgeable as he is kind. He always takes time to make sure his patients feel heard and understood. I recommend Dr. Nick to everyone!

Unfortunately, the experience visiting Highland Urgent Care & Family Medicine was not good. I should have heeded that warning when I called the location to learn the businessu2019 protocol for new patients. The person that answered the phone was rude. I should have switched gears then.nnIn Short: When I arrived to the business (for check-in) the experience did not get better. First, the front desku2019s concern appeared to be to sell me a package vs. the purpose of my visit. As I sat in one of the rooms to be examined, an Assistant (uncertain what level and title) visited with me before the doctor. She absolutely could not be othered. She re-asked the same questions that was inquired of me at Intake and had the gall to be conveniently snide. She eventually snipped, u201cThe doctor will be with you shortly.u201d And turned on her heels and walked out. About 5-Minutes later, the doctor arrived and apparently was in a hurry to get on with his day. I think the entire examination took 2-minutes (if that) and he was gone.nnI feel like an idiot. I simply should have paid the extra $100 a block over with Piedmont Urgent Care and saved myself the mistreatment.nn...And Highland Urgent Care & Family Medicine has the nerve to routinely send e-mail notifications about creating an account with them.nnGrief.

I have always had good experiences at this doctor's office: the staff is friendly and capable, and their walk-in policy is very convenient (or you can also make an appointment).nnAs a patient, you first meet with Darlicia who collects your symptoms. She is compassionate, warmhearted and thorough - a comforting welcome when you're not feeling great. I wish more doctors would realize how important medical assistants truly are...nnAnd then you meet with Amy, who is the PA. She is experienced and detail-oriented, and I've seen her make difficult diagnoses swiftly and accurately. Amy is also great about communicating with her patients: it is rare to have medical personnel get back to you so promptly - often within the hour. And Amy's medical reports are very comprehensive and detailed, often more detailed than those of a specialist.nnThank you, Darlicia and Amy, and all the staff at HUC&FM. You do a wonderful job!
