My husband had hip replacement surgery on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at the Fredericksburg Hospital, as a patient of Dr. Romanick. The experience was wonderful; could not have been better. Every single person there was so genuinely friendly, reassuring, and helpful that we both felt at ease during the whole procedure. Dr. Romanick, his nurses, physical therapist, occupational therapist, and everyone involved took great care to explain what was needed for recuperation. They spent a lot of TIME with us. We are immensely thankful and very grateful this hospital is close by. I wish I could remember all of your names. THANK YOU ALL!

During a recent staycation, I was admitted to Methodist Hill Country. If I had to be in the hospital during my vacation, this is where I would choose to go. The staff was attentive and kind, and there was no sense of rushing. They listened to my concerns and kept me comfortable throughout my stay. Tests were conducted at every step, and the next steps in my care were clearly explained.nnUnfortunately, I had to be admitted, but the process was reassuring. The pharmacists conducted a thorough medication history, the hospitalist from the emergency department took my medical history, and once I arrived in my room, the nurse performed a comprehensive check of my skin integrity and family history. I truly felt cared for and at ease with my providers.nnThe nursing staff and CNAs on the second floor are just as capable as those in larger hospitals, which often have patients waiting in hallways on stretchers, exposed to the cold while waiting for a room. I would gladly drive an hour to be with professionals who prioritize patient care over flashy amenities like 40-inch screens on the walls. It's all about the patients!

My Mom was taken to ER, followed up with surgery by Dr Edeen, the best! Would highly recommend him. She had great care, but one nurse Maria, Mom had for several days was professional and kind. She took her time and went above and beyond to do extra things that made a difference in a hospital stay.

Been here for 3 hours and it's quite , doesn't look busy! The doctor hasn't been in at all. No tests done for my son yet. Yes, we did come in for a minor issue like flu possibly strep but this was my only choice. Can't afford to skip work Monday and I can't take off anyway due to short staffing. I feel like we were brushed to the side intentionally. I have never had this long of a wait

They should be a little more accessible when it comes to delivering the results and investigating the complications of the patients, I went to the emergency room for pain in my back and nothing was detected, I had to go to the emergency room in San Antinio and they detected a urinary infection... where do they leave the laboratory reagents? Are doctors really qualified to investigate health complications? One should definitely be well prepared, including with legal arguments to they.
