I was recently in the ER and then admitted for GI issues. This is a very busy place & yes it takes a long time, but that's to be expected. It is an old hospital and could use an update, but I was very pleased with my care. Sarah Swisher NP is wonderful in the ER & was spot on with my diagnosis. I had great care from everyone at this hospital....too many names to list, but they were all knowledgeable, caring & helpful.

This happens to be one of the worse caring'est Hospital staff I've ever seen as a patient and a family member of a patient who was patient here. Here is the reason why I voted this Hospital one star is because some of the Hospital staff here especially the nurses and tech's act like they don't care what's so ever about they're patients. I am sorry but it's true.I will describe the attitude from some of the staff my mother was a patient there and she had a male nurse float from a different unit of the Hospital he was extremely lazy didn't want to do anything to help my mother at all and same with his tech she didn't even come and check on my mother.They had a patient there in the next room on the unit floor where my mother was admitted to and the gentleman who was the patient in the next acted like everyone was out to get him...He was extremely foul mouthed, rude, nasty. He starts early mornings, afternoons and late at night no matter what you're trying to do he goes off on people. We told the nurse they claim They can't do nothing about the issue with him When other patients and family members were also complaining about it as well. That is how loud and obnoxious this guy was to people even to staff members. If you're going to have a patient who is rude and nasty to everyone around him make him understand he needs to quiet down and not just let him continue on during whatever time it is. It's very rude!Yes we told the staff about it and they were Supposely were going to tell the charge nurse about the issues but nothing was ever said and no one came in and asked about what is going on.The rooms are very small but not the orthopedic surgery floor. Wish they would improve on making the rooms bigger so other people can walk around in. The only rooms that have the bigger rooms are the Orthopedic surgery and ICU rooms which I understand the need for the rooms to be bigger.How are the doctors here at the Hospital? I can only speak about Dr. Jallad, Dr. Al-Shroof and Dr. Jenkins and Dr. Rihawi they're all great doctors and treated my mother with respect and honesty especially Dr. Jallad, Dr. Jenkins and Dr. Rihawi.

I said that I would never return after my experience in 2020, and I ended up in a situation yesterday where Houston was my only option for GI. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised at how I was treated from start to finish. I canu2019t praise my nurse enough! I deleted my previous review and am basing this off my current experience. 5 stars to my nurses, surgeons and physician on call. I was very comfortable and treated respectfully. Love to see the progress!Just for reference- I did go to Peach first and got transferred to Houston so I canu2019t speak on ER wait times. If you need to get in fast Iu2019d try Perry or Peach, but expect 1-2 hours wait or more for anywhere unless you are having a serious medical emergency. Also urgent care is much better for flu, stomach aches, viruses, etc. If you go to the ER for something like that, you are going to for sure wait.

The Womenu2019s Center at Houston Healthcare AMAZING!! AMAZING!! AMAZING!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! everything went GREAT from the labor and deliver to the postpartum, EVERYONE! was so welcoming and willing to help with any and everything you need literally. For my first baby iu2019m sooo glad that I chose to go with them Iu2019m truly grateful. They definitely deserve a 5+ star rating.

I would first like to thank Kendra Ashley in admission registration along with Nathan and Deborah N (Happy Retirement) in preop registration. They did such a great job handling my preadmission forms, instructions, and lab work. The surgical team alongside my wonderful doctor Dr. Nguyen were excellent. Thank you recovery staff for managing my pain and ensuring I was stable enough to transfer to my next destination. To the staff on the pediatrics floor- Angel, Sherina, Janet, and Charise- a huge thanks for your special care post op. Listen! I may have been on the pediatrics floor and I surely didn't mind because this staff rocks. Plus there were no yunguns up there crying and hollering (Giggles). As a healthcare professional, this was one instance I actually felt like I was a patient instead of a nurse. I know it is a very tough job being in healthcare so many thanks for your professionalism and caring ways. Last but not least, the food was really good. Thank you dietary department for coming up and being personable asking me specifically what I wanted to eat based on the menu and my specified diet. I greatly appreciate everyone.
