So just like everyone else on here. I went to this hospital in Novi for an emergency not too long ago (March 3, 2025). Somehow in some way I received a collections bill from Americollect April 17, 2025 a little over a month. I'm currently in China for a business trip (12 hours ahead) and I found out via email from Americollect.nnAgain not even 30 days from when I was at the hospital and it was sent to collections, mind you that have yet to see a bill from this place. I have moved to a new address with mail forwarding to said new address. Also USPS had stated taking photos of my incoming mail and I have yet to see said bill.nnI not only sent an email to Americollect requesting further information on the bill but also I have sent the same email to David Zirnstein requesting further information. I may get the BBB involved within this matter depending on the date the bill was sent to collections on the grounds that this is unacceptable.

I was contacted by a collections agency about a bill I never received for my son, who saw one of their physicians in April 2024. Not only did I never receive a bill, but my insurance was never billed, so the balance the collections agency asked for was incorrect. Idk who's running their billing department, but I really hope they revamp their whole system soon. EVERYONE can't be wrong. I am giving them 2 stars instead of 1 because they said they are going to resubmit the bill to my insurance. Based on how they handle this issue moving forward, I will change my rating.

Same as everyone else getting a final notice to pay within 15 days or it goes to collection. I never received any other letters or bills from them and they clearly didnu2019t have my insurance on file because my insurance doesnu2019t have any record of this charge. This is absolutely ridiculous. This behavior from a company is predatory and should be criminal if itu2019s not already. I assume this is for an emergency visit from earlier this year that Iu2019ve already paid a couple bills for but I have no clue. Thereu2019s little to no details on the letter. Idk if this is even a legitimate bill!

I had a workers comp incident from 2021. I checked with my employer and the bill was paid. However, I received a notification this year in 2025 that the bill had been sent to collections and that I owe $981 still yet everything was already paid for. Judging by all the other reviews, it seems like this company is trash and needs to figure their shit out because itu2019s affecting my credit score.

I got one bill from an outside billing company (doctor payments) saying final notice or this was going to collections. I could not login to see what was going on because of an error on their part and getting my sonu2019s DOB wrong. After speaking with doctor payments help line they said they could add my insurance to bill the doctoru2026..if the hospital had no issue billing my insurance why canu2019t this company figure out how to bill it automatically versus causing me extra work to pay their doctor 650 dollars for 20 mins of their time? It shouldnu2019t be ok to add this amount of stress to patients when their employees are making that kind of moneynnEdit: while I canu2019t speak for the company I can say I contacted a Julie susin from the from the owner in other responses. While she no longer works in that department of the company she forwarded my email to the person who took her place. I did not hear from him but Julie continued to address my concerns and got back to me in a timely manner including weekends. If I could give her alone a 5 star review, I would . I hope the company recognizes how valuable she is to the company doing her new job whatever that may be as well as her old. Julie- you are truly an exceptional human being. Thank you.
