I had gone to Atlantic Health Urgent Care at 56 Chambersbridge Rd in Brick NJ a few hours ago and I want to say I had a very nice experience. I was greeted with a smile and so professional. Jenna, Kandi, Jen and Krystyna who took the time to listen to my reason for being there. I was upset when I entered I left there with knowing all was going to be ok. The blonde receptionist at the front desk was very rude to me when I arrived. She told me to sign in but did not say where. I took a clipboard and she very rudely said to me not there, here. Then she curtly told me to sit down and fill out the paper work. Other customers who were Caucasion received a hello and a smile. I felt like she was rude to me because I was a person of color. I did not appreciate it. And I will never ever visit this facility again even if I have to wait three hours somewhere else. I prefer to be treated like a human being. The Doctor was nice and helpful, but I will not go somewhere where I feel that I am being discriminated against. She needs cultural sensitivity training.

Worst urgent care I've ever been tonnBack story, I called ahead of time to make sure they took my insurance and if they did provide certain services. They confirmed both over the phone. I went in, the front desk ladies were nice, but that's where I think the professionalism ended. The part that killed me the most was it felt like the test to see what was going on with me was done incorrectly and they refused to do any other tests and told me to go to my PCP. Which felt entirely dismissive, invalidating, and infuriating. I ended up going to another urgent care the next day because, surprise surprise, I could NOT see my PCP same day which is why I went to an urgent care in the first place. The other urgent care tested me properly and proved to me that this location is EXTREMELY unprofessional.

Terrible place donu2019t go there. I couldnu2019t believe the unprofessionalism of the people that work here especially the front desk and medical assistants. The place was filthy also. I have a lot of respect for health care workers but this place really had me mad. The story of what happen is long and I donu2019t know if I wanna explain it here and remember it because it was so mentally disturbing all I wanna say is donu2019t get blood work done there. Donu2019t expect caring service, or professional help. Avoid the place as much as possible.
