Wonderful experience and the best medical care from an ER Iu2019ve received in over 10 years. Everyone I encountered was attentive and caring. Dr. Smetana took her time examining me and explained my diagnosis in detail which I appreciated. My nurse was so nice I even thanked her for being so nice because Iu2019m not used to medical staff being so caring and used to being treated as a nuisance. The wait was long but it is a tiny hospital. The triage nurse was checking everyoneu2019s vitals every hour to make sure we were ok and the other triage nurse actually came out and apologized about the wait. I just moved here so Iu2019m not sure if medical care is just better in the Rochester area but the hospitals in Niagara and Erie county need to take notes!!

I came to the emergency room this morning 2/22/25 for abdominal pain that was radiating to my side and back, from the moment I walked into the hospital I was greeted by kind and caring staff. I didn't wait long to be seen and Dr. Tran came in to talk to me about my symptoms he told me the care plan and how he was going to run blood work and send me for a cat scan to see what was going on. Nurse Josh was also very kind, checking in on me to see how I was feeling and to ask how my pain level was. I ended up having a kidney stone and I'm so glad I came here for my care. I was in good hands. Even the lady who took me for my cat scan was very nice she even gave me a warm blanket on the way back to my room. Thank you all so much for listening to me and being so kind and caring.

I went into Strong West with a relative to be treated around 9:30 pm on March 30th, 2025. We had such a great experience from start to finish. Each person we encountered was friendly, helpful and efficient. I was so impressed with how quickly the process went even with having to have blood work and scans done. Thank you to all the wonderful staff!

Went here yesterday for a major case of Bursitis in my knee. I've had this before and have gotten steroid shots and always worked wonders. Not here. The land of the PA'S. After being in there for 3 hrs the pa came in and told me they don't feel comfortable injecting into my knee. He made it clear I need to have the fluid drained. After me limping out and then back in, I agreed to let him drain it. He got nothing out after several probes, wrapped it with an ace bandage and told me to call my primary for a follow up. Oh, he also said if I have any more problems to stop back. I now can't even get outta bed. Will miss DAYS of work and in complete agony. They should make this place a training facility only using dolls and stuffed animals. What happened to the Hippocratic Oath

Can't say enough good things about this place!! Went yesterday for abdominal pain and nausea/vomiting. Only had to wait a very short time in the waiting room before they brought me back into a room. Everyone there was so friendly and eager to help. The secretary was super nice! The nurses along with the ultrasound tech (Taylor I think?) were all very nice and welcoming. Dr Mohney was great!! He was super nice, very knowledgeable and helpful. He listened to all of my concerns and was very caring. They gave me a nice warm blanket when I got there, kept checking to see if I needed anything. I got IV fluids for dehydration and nausea meds and was honestly so comfortable there that I didn't want to leave!! Highly recommend coming to this ER if you ever need to, you will get excellent care!!! Thank you for making me feel so comfortable and having a good experience there! I have really bad anxiety in hospital settings and sometimes even have panic attacks and I felt so at ease yesterday and was really pleased with the way I was treated and taken care of.
