There are so many reasons I am giving this place a 1 star review but Iu2019ll name one of them. I took my granddaughter here to get a strept, Covid and flu test. Even though she has Medicaid they wouldnu2019t see her unless she paid $75 due to a sign on the window about a high deductible policy. We had already paid the $75 when we noticed the sign said discluding Medicaid and Medicare. When I brought it to their attention that this is Medicaid the nurse said she didnu2019t know ( even though she already had the Medicaid card) but would not give our money back. Iu2019m pretty sure thatu2019s illegal!

Would give zero if possible. Waited 3 hours in the lobby (wasnu2019t busy to begin with) an hour and half of it was just me and my child. Then spent another hour in the back for a ten minute strep test. Staff was chatting and didnu2019t really care about doing their job we were more of an inconvenience. Fully believe the ER would have been quicker.nnAlso I know this is not a one time thing this happened before and they told me they were behind due to MA and Dr being late to the office. That clearly was just a story because they just flat out are a horrible place to go.

The doctor I saw around 8:45pm (the owner of the company) was very charming. He very confidently told me that the antibiotic he was prescribing was safe during pregnancy. My husband and I waited outside the pharmacy until 10pm because I was so desperate to be relieved of my symptoms. Once the bottle was in my hand I did a quick google search and immediately found that the drug was tested and known to cause miscarriage and birth defects. I was absolutely furious. We ended up heading to the ER because, again we were so desperate for relief and had just wasted our time and money with Bluegrass Urgent Care. They were able to prescribe me something thatu2019s actually safe during pregnancy. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!

I went in due experiencing symptoms of the flu in which my daughter was diagnosed one day prior with the flu, tested negative but only because I had symptoms less than 24 hours per the nurse practitioner statement. I was told a prescription would be called in for Tamiflu. No prescription was called in, I have called twice now to get the prescription called in and have been told twice that they would check with the physician and call me back. No call back and no prescription. As a nurse myself this is severely unprofessional and negligent of their patients. I also paid for two tests Covid annd the Flu and only received one, hopefully they donu2019t bill my insurance for two as this would be considered insurance fraud on top of medical negligence. Also as a nurse myself I would have expected the medical staff to have name tags or to at least wear a medical uniform not sweatshirts and sweatpants, could just be me though. Absolutely terrible

Bluegrass Urgent Care offers the finest immediate need care for VA patients as well as the general public. Clean, kind, and prompt. Very professional from intake to disposition. Bluegrass Urgent Care is my first stop care for all non- emergent needs. Highly recommended. Definitely a repeat, as needed of course. Easily seen from road. Ample parking
