I recently went to the international travel clinic at the health department. I was very impressed with the professionalism of the staff and the knowledgeable interaction regarding areas I was traveling in, vaccination and medication needs. The staff were very friendly and encouraged me to call back if I needed more assistance later. The parking was free and accessible, Everyone I talked to was very nice and helpful, from the parking lot, information booth and the clinic staff. I was very impressed, itu2019s been years since Iu2019ve been to the health department and it was great.

I made an appointment using the number on the website. I got through the automated phone system smoothly. Waited on hold for a bit. The phone was answered by the nicest lady, who explained everything clearly and concisely! She made sure I had all of the information about times, how to cancel in case of emergency, the fee, and that insurance will not cover the fee, what to bring, the building location, where to park, and how to access the particular clinic I need. It was a good experience!

This is, without a doubt, the most useless medical facility I have ever visited. We went for travel immunizations for my son, who is heading to South Africa, and received absolutely no assistance. Instead of providing medical guidance, the nurse simply read information from a websiteu2014something we had already researched and printed ourselves. It was a complete joke.nnTo make matters worse, they didnu2019t have a single vaccine we needed and told us to check with our doctor or a pharmacy. Why does this place even exist if they canu2019t provide basic services?nnThe scheduling process was a nightmareu2014disorganized, slow, and frustrating. Despite being overstaffed (we were the only patients there), the employees moved at a glacial pace, showed no initiative, and seemed utterly uninterested in helping.nnSave yourself the time, frustration, and money. Go somewhere elseu2014anywhere else. This place is an absolute disgrace.

Since the very beginning when I called to set my appointment, the lady on the phone was so helpful. She was kind and patient and explained everything very clear. Once at the building all the staff was welcoming and kind. The Dr. was beyond excellent. Very thankful for your service.
