I'm so glad you guys are here. Both snow storms, my daughter has gotten sick and our pediatrician was closed. It was so nice to have somewhere to go and get her taken care of. Everybody I have dealt with has been very friendly and helpful, Even when I know they're very busy, I never felt rushed and I always feel listened to. Being able to log on and get in line online was perfect so I didn't have to make a toddler wait in the lobby for a long time.

Today I called KStat Urgent Care to ask about pricing for a COVID test and a doctoru2019s release for work. While the receptionist was mostly kind, I was initially given vague and incomplete information about the cost. I was told there would be a $50 upfront charge but wasnu2019t given a clear answer about additional fees. When I pressed for the total cost, I was finally told it could be around $280 without insurance.nnWhat concerns me is that it seemed like I wouldnu2019t have been told the full price unless I pushed for it. I was also told that I could call billing after the fact to try to reduce costs, which felt like an intentional way to get patients in the door without fully informing them.nnI understand that medical pricing can be complicated, but transparency is importantu2014especially when patients are paying out of pocket. If youu2019re considering KStat, be sure to ask very specific questions about pricing upfront. Also, itu2019s only $100 if you go to the ER!

We had no wait time and our practioner was so incredibly kind it was really soothing. They forwarded info and a results of a test they did tomout PCP. Ot was really seamless and we were under care all the time.
