Whilst the nurses and doctors are friendly and quite timely, they have failed to give me accurate diagnoses for illnesses. My daughter recently went complaining of ear ache. They said 'it looked dark' and is a possible infection. No further tests done and we later found out she had put a bean in her ear! The front office staff were not that friendly either. Shame as they're efficient and so close to us.

I don't always have much faith in urgent cares but I have taken my teenager here twice and both times they provided excellent care. Last time in particular we went in, the doc or NP (Jacqueline Mathis) we saw was very warm, patient, and attentive to my child and helped me figure out how to find some specific medical information she needed before she could prescribe anything, which she called in as soon as I was able to provide it. It could've been a very frustrating visit since I didn't have the information she needed on hand but she went above and beyond to provide the care we needed! Both times the wait has been reasonable, the check-in process easy as they send the registration right to your phone, and we haven't received any surprise bills in the mail on our co-pay! This will continue to be our go to urgent care.

Urgent care facilities are useful when you need medical attention quickly and donu2019t have time to make an appointment. Not all urgent care facilities are as efficient and successful as others but one that has always come through for me is Next Level Urgent Care on Kingsland Blvd in Katy.nnI have been visiting this Urgent Care for many years and it continues to improve. The facility is on one of the main roads in Katy, so it is easy to find and has a large parking lot. The inside is comfortable and looks nice, with excellent seating. They check you in quickly and call you back in reasonable time, provided they are not overflowing with patients.nnMost importantly, Next Level takes care of you, answers questions, and resolves problems so that you can get on with your day. My most recent visit is a perfect case in point. I had gone to a different urgent care the previous day and they were unable to solve my problem, which was excessive earwax that needed to be flushed out of both ears. The other place was lacking in materials and didnu2019t even proceed the way they should have, which left me perplexed, and dissatisfied. Next Level, in contrast, knew exactly what to do. In less than an hour, my problem was resolved and I was able to enjoy the rest of my day.nnUrgent care facilities are commonplace in most cities and they serve an important purpose. But not all urgent cares are created equally. Next Level in Katy truly lives up to its name and itu2019s an urgent care to which I will continue to visit whenever health issues arise.
