NOTE: Kauai Medical Clinic is the old name for Wilcox Medical Center and Hawaii Pacific. used to be called. I have been going every week for six months so I am starting to know the place. If you have a magazine you have already read, tear your address off of it and leave it to share with others, they are short of reading materials.Wait times have been very reasonable, the earlier in the day you get your appointment the better. Parking can get tricky, they serve a lot of people, once again, the earlier you arrive in the morning the better.They are clean, friendly and efficient. They are connected to the hospital so services like radiology are available. The hospital cafeteria is better than most.

The emergency room staff were terrific! They were attentive and caring. The attending physician, Dr Luke Metzker, was absolutely the best. I wish he were my primary care doctor. I cannot say enough about their thoroughness and thoughtfulness. Kauai is lucky to have a staff like that on the island.

I had an ultasound at 8:30AM today, I had my daughter with me and no one was available to watch her so I had no other choice but to bring her. When I came to check in, the lady was telling me that children weren't allowed in the operating room and that I'd have to either CALL someone to watch my daughter OR reschedule. So I asked if I could reschedule, so she said to have to me wait for 5-10 minutes and she'll give the Specialist a call to reschedule. Waited and waited. Never heard back. And I don't got time to wait, I want to get appointments through and leave. I have other things to do. So I walked back up to her and asked how it was going, she told me Oh actually the Specialist said she'll give you a call back. This receptionist just didn't want to deal with me and my daughter, she just wanted us to leave. Kauai Medical Clinic your not TRAINING your employees correctly how to properly handle situations face to face with patients and visitors. Horrible client service. Thank god I will be doing my ultrasound elsewhere. I can't deal!

The best! The ER is on top of everything and the nurses are very competent. If you get admitted most people have single rooms and every leaf is turned over. Saves you from having to get test in Oahu or the mainland. Again the nurses are very kind and professional. Granted if you are in dire straits you would want to be at USC or UCLA etc. For a small island in the middle of the pacific I tip my hat to Wilcox hospital and all their staff. Thank you!

Took day off to see Dr. Netzer. Appointment was for 11 AM Arrived at 10.45 AM. Waited until noon and no service. Dr's feel their time is most important and patients time is secondary. Shows lack of respect for who pays their salary. Not recommended.
