I took my granddaughter today, Saturday May 24, 2025 & it was really nice. The lady @ the front desk was amazing! I give her 5 stars, unfortunately I did not get her name. She was extremely friendly & more than helpful. I greatly appreciate her as a person. I also did not get the nurses name & do not have the prescriptions @ the moment but she was wonderful also! Very cleanly. Itu2019s not as close to my home as I would like it to be, but I donu2019t mind the drive w/ such a wonderful staff! Thank you both! A. H.

Excellent experience at Urgent Care. Iu2019m an American Veteran treated with the utmost respect and efficiency. I canu2019t say enough about the doctor or whatever her title was. She spent considerable time with me and answered all my questions. I would certainly recommend Urgent Care to everyone who needs medical attention. For that I gave them 5 stars!

This was our 2nd or 3rd time visiting here. I appreciate how quick we were in and out both times. They explained what they were doing, details on what we needed to do. I liked the NP Tara. How she approached us and overall interacted. And if you've been there, the check in is effortless.

Prior to my arrival at this location, I did my research on the website for what can/canu2019t be treated. Two of my symptoms were listed so I proceeded to this location. I was greeted by a friendly receptionist and my vitals were taken by a friendly nurse who relayed my concerns to the provider, FNP Tara Coupel. I advised her that one of my symptoms were prior but prolonged & still currently an issue. The second symptom was recent and urgent but due to me visiting, I would like to take up both issues at this visit. She immediately interrupted me by saying u201cThatu2019s not how it works, but ok.u201d Which threw me off because it was such an unprofessional response. Throughout me giving her a thorough my explanation of my symptoms, she continued to have witty/rude responses as if my concerns were invalid and giving the impression that I made a blank trip. Iu2018m not sure if itu2019s just her personality but she made the experience horrible for me. I think if she would have at least smiled, I would have passed off ass sarcasm but it indeed was not. In all of my years, Iu2019ve never experienced the rudeness I received from her today, from any doctor, nurse, or medical professional (even on a bad day because I understand people have those.) Despite her lack of manners, visit was quick and everyone else was pleasant. I did leave with the same questions/concerns I arrived with and will be going somewhere else for treatment in the future. This was my first time at this location and will be my last due to FNP Tara Coupelu2019s attitude toward a paying patient who was concerned about her health and well-being. This was honestly a blank visit and my insurance will basically be paying for a 5 minute interaction of rudeness.

Went in on 1-31-25 to Johnston Street location and they required $100.00 up front. I paid the $100.00u2026..insurance paid and my responsibility was $11.08. I have tried numerous times contacting the billing department with the last time making me e-mail a copy of the EOB and still nothing. Contacted Megan Thibodeaux, Manager of SouthStar and nothing. Iu2019m extremely disappointed in this business and how they operate. DO NOT GO TO SOUTH STARnLooks like I will never get my $88.92 returned
