Had a wonderful experience at this clinic after a serious fall on concrete. The Dr and nursing staff were very knowledgeable and explained all the procedures. I didnu2019t have to wait long to get in and the office is in the beautiful Hapuna Beach Resort.

Pretty disappointing experience. I showed up in need of a stitch or two after I accidentally sent a diving knife into my thigh. It was not an emergency. Bleeding was under control but keeping the wound from reopening was an issue.nnI can say the resort staff that helped us with directions along the way were extremely helpful and kind, understanding I was seeking medical care.nnI walked in to the office and told them I needed a puncture wound looked at and I thought stitches would be necessary. The nurse and receptionist both looked at the clock and said not today.....it was 4:30 and they close at 5. They didn't offer to look at the wound, nor seem to care about my well-being. The nurse was more concerned about getting her mask on when she saw us walk in the door. Anyone that's gotten stitches knows it's a quick process. They acted like it was a complicated procedure....if that's the case you probably don't want to trust them with your health anyhow.nnDon't waste your time if you don't have an appointment and have any sense of urgency.nClosest E.R. is in Waimea. Probably just head straight there.

Care at this center was adequate! We were able to be seen and understood that most likely our visit would not be covered by insurance. However, we were charged for a Covid test that was not actually administered to my son. After TWO MONTHS of back and forth with them and their billing department they finally issued the refund. There was little apology and no explanation given as to why it took so long for the refund. The staff was kind when dealing with this matter but they seriously lacked in follow through.

Staff was very kind and the doctor took the time to explain my situation. There were no strep tests available, but I am grateful I was prescribed antibiotics based on my symptoms. I was very surprised to be charged $200 for my visit- this is very poorly communicated. Despite filling out a waiver prior to the appointment and the front desk attendant taking my insurance card, I wasnu2019t informed of paying the full amount upfront until my appointment was over. The doctor told me that they do this because the insurance companies simply donu2019t pay them- afterwards I checked their website and they state they are out of network for most insurance, so this information doesnu2019t make the most sense. I should have checked this prior, but there was definitely ample opportunity to let me know about it. I do want to apologize for being rude- getting sick on a special vacation got the best of me. Thank you again.
