What would a private equity own clinic look like?nnIs it the fact that the doctors there will order any sort of random test that you don't need in an order to charge more from the visit?nnIs it the fact that the doctors will brush off any attempt to discuss what side effects there are from the procedure or whether you actually need it in the first place?nnIs it the face that you will regularly wait over an hour past your appointment time because the clinic needs to operate at 100% efficiency?nnIs it the fact that this place looks so haphazardly put together you might actually be getting more sick just from being inside the facility?nnIs it the fact that you will be hit with all sort of charges for the smallest interactions you had? Yes, your doctor had to run to the bathroom and come back to the office? That's actually two visits, sir.nnIs it the fact that no amount of time spent with the billing office will reduce your bill and not only did you waste your time but you also broke your own mental piece?nnFor those of you who might not have as vivid of an imagination and you want to see what a profit maximizing place of dis-health looks like, just come take a walk by this clinic.nnI understand this is a budget option for those that don't have the best insurance. I fell for the scam too. Every time I visited the clinic, I was immediately obvious to me that I would have saved my time, my money, and been healthier if I just avoided the clinic completely.

As someone with a chronic mobility disorder who has been seeing a range of specialty care for years, I have never experienced something so unprofessional and borderline medical malpractice as I have at this office. I have seen multiple of the medical arts this semester through dozens of appointments and pushed through minor problems and ridiculous wait times because I needed the care. I was prescribed muscle relaxers by my PA followed by refills and upping the dose. The most recent time I submitted my refill request I was told that my PA could not refill it and I would have to wait til my appointment on June 8 with the pain management specialist (one month away from the time I ran out).nn2 weeks later of calls, messages (which were ignored as shown in the picture) and voicemails and being told that I would be called back that same day twice, which never happened, I was finally told that my PA had quit. QUIT. Not one person notified me, just that she couldn't refill my prescription. I was told that they were in contact with Dr DeSilva and had been messaging her, which turned out to be a massive lie as the days I was told they were contacting her were her last days.nnYou DO NOT prescribe a medication that someone needs then play games with them about getting refills. It's giving was money-hungry and greedy trying to get me to come spend money on another appointment. Ridiculous. Disgusting. Unprofessional. Stay away!

Terrible experience. They forgot to send information to another clinic and didnt tell me about it for an entire month. i had to facilitate the entire process myself. And the person on the phone from W14 Medicals Arts told me i should find out and figure everything out.

For the second time I've had an appointment canceled without any notification. Never got called, and definitely didn't receive any voicemail despite their insistence. I don't know who is running this place but considering we have so many options in NYC I would avoid.nnInterestingly, my appointment was also for pulmonology like others here have complained about.

Would not recommend W14st. For your lab results you have to go in person. I think itu2019s just a scam and just to get copayment and to charge insurances/patients. Urgent care, Obgyn calls with your results. Just give them your birthdate.. shit even adolescent doctor growing up use to call my mom and tell her any results over the phone. However, this clinic none of the doctors tell you your results over the phone like every other normal practice.nnIf you donu2019t have a life, live nearby, donu2019t mind paying copayment to hear results that can be said on the phone, waste time then come here. Will be switching to a more functional practice. This is the only place that doesnu2019t tell results on the phone and want you to come in.
