I visited Laguna Urgent Care and saw Dr. Nissanka who is a wonderful physician. I received great care from him and appreciated the Concierge level of care I received. Each of my family members have had to visit Dr. Nissanka. With each visit the front office staff was very friendly and efficient in getting us seen as quick as possible.Dr. Nissanka was very thorough with his exams. We did not feel like he was rushing to see other patients, he really took his time with each visit.We have referred several people and will continue to do so.

I was told the visit would be $70 after they checked my insurance and confirmed my deductible, which I told them upfront. Weeks later, I received a surprise bill for nearly $200 more. When I pushed back, they claimed, *we don't know your deductible until we bill your insurance--*even though we had already discussed it and they gave me a price based on it. This feels deliberately misleading. They give you a low quote to get you in the door, then fall back on a technicality to justify a much higher bill later. This isn't a simple mistake--it's a billing tactic. Be warned.
