I went in for outpatient tests yesterday. It was my first visit to Lake Huron Medical Center, and I was extremely impressed! All the people I had contact with were very warm and friendly, and extremely informative on where to go and what to expect. I very highly recommend Lake Huron Medical Center!

The staff here is amazing. I had to get an incredibly uncomfortable and invasive procedure done without the benefit of drugs or anesthesia, but I was in good hands. Dr. Jain talked me through everything that he was doing, and Sarah not only did her job but was also there to comfort me. I appreciate these two so much. They are very knowledgeable and did their best to make me as calm as possible in an awkward situation.

Just wanted to share what a great experience I had at this office . The doctor , the nurse and both receptionists up front where very welcoming and took my health concerns seriously. Angela , called my other doctors office and scheduled the appointments I needed for my up coming procedure. I would highly recommend this office and the staff there to everyone .

The staff who were directly involved in the lab work which was ordered were Great. HOWEVER; YET AGAIN, The results of my labs were NOT sent to the doctor who ordered them. When I arrived for my appointment, I had to wait while the results were faxed to them. This is NOT the 1st time that this has happened,, and it's unacceptable; they added an extra 1/2 hour to my visit as we were all waiting for the results. Then my Dr had to review them for the 1st time in the room with me so she could formulate the progress forward. It seems any time, a doctor outside the Port Huron area orders the tests, someone at the lab makes a decision to not send them on their own. The has happened 3 times with my Endocrinologist and 3 times with my rheumatologist.

Went in for an upper gi. The staff was great from reception to the procedure. I felt very comfortable with what I had done. The results were not the best news as I may need to have it done every 3 years but it was a very comfortable experience. Thank you to all the people that were involved with this procedure and for the wonderful care I received.
