Iu2019ve been looking for a dentist for 3 years to get two crowns. Iu2019ve been to two other health centers but they never follow through, especially either my insurance authorization. I got it done within 3 months. Customer service is impeccable. I highly recommend LaSante Health Center. I took my mother, my sister, and friend to see their dentist. Dr. Castillo is an amazing dentist. She is down to earth and for the people. She values total health and wellness and sees everyone as more than just a patient. When you sit in her chair, you can feel her genuine concern about you, your life and most importantly your oral health. She is sincere and willing to teach and educate you regarding your oral health should you have questions and concerns. Dr. Castillo is a phenomenal dentist and is the epitome of providing high quality care. Dr. Castillo is certainly the best.

I saw Dr. Ofiong Okon for the first time for an annual physical, and she is an extremely intelligent, warm, and friendly doctor. Despite this being the first time I've seen her, she is efficient at her work, knew how to answer all my questions exhaustively (and even answered some before I knew to ask them), took my concerns seriously, made followup calls earlier if she felt action needed to be taken sooner and gave you what you needed for docs/referrals--everything you want from a doctor. She doesn't mince words, but even when giving you direct results, she has a great sense of humor and energy. (even found out our birthdays are close to each other!) The work she's done for the NYC community, for medical education, and for gender-affirming care in the past is also important for me for value alignment too. After so much time with other providers that did not give me the proper time of day by comparison, she has already made a difference to me.

Only the absolute best! I know this simply because prior to meeting Dr. Valery, I didn't trust any Doctor, and I also didn't have a consistent primary care physician. Trusting Doctors was something that was not even considered to me. Then I met LaSante Health Center, and Dr. Valery. It has changed and saved my life. He is professional, caring, and he actually listens. I would recommend him and LaSante to anyone who is looking for top rate care

6 years later and this is still the best facility with the best doctors. Dr. Ofiong Okon & Anise Joseph are so thorough, compassionate, caring and excellent at their work. My entire family goes here. The wait has never been long, the facility and bathrooms are clean and well maintained and the doctors do not rush you in and out. On top of that I have never had an issue with billing! So this means the front desk staff and billing department know what they are doing as well!
