This hospital should be ashamed to call itself a medical facility. It's located in a questionable area, and my experience there was beyond disappointing. Two years ago, I had throat surgery at this hospital, and from the moment I arrived, the treatment I received was unacceptable. The nurses were rude and openly mocked me under their breath for being transgender. I chose to ignore it, but the lack of professionalism was apparent. When it came time to insert my IV, the first nurse was completely incompetentu2014it took four failed attempts before another nurse stepped in and got it right on the first try. I am not a difficult stick, having undergone multiple surgeries, ER visits, and regular blood work for other health issues, so this was purely a matter of inexperience. The nurse who finally got the IV in was also the only kind and competent staff member I encountered. The situation only got worse. I became uneasy when I realized that none of the staff could correctly pronounce the name of my procedureu2014despite it being made up of basic medical terminology. This did not inspire confidence in their ability to care for me properly. After surgery, things took a dangerous turn. The moment I regained consciousness, the staff rushed to get me dressed, put me in a wheelchair, and wheeled me outside to wait for my husbandu2014who was still an hour away at work. I was left outside, still under the effects of anesthesia, completely unable to speak due to the nature of my surgery. If something had gone wrong, I would have been completely helpless. This hospital is absolutely awful. The lack of compassion, professionalism, and basic medical competence is shocking. I would never trust them with my care again.

I've called what I was told was the main scheduling line (503-413-4488) four times in the last 2 days and 3 of those times was asked my age and then immediately told they do not see adults and hung up on. The 4th time I finally reached someone that was able to get me in for my referral. A process that should have taken a 15 min phone call took 2 days to reach someone and multiple calls back and forth with my referring providers office.

sorry if long, i dont hold back my thoughts....the security officers are a joke, you can easily get a weapon past them while they are on shift and there are windows where they arent on shift at some entrances when they are on shift at others...i was forced to go through a security check point after i had walked rite past it with a doctor 10 mins before and wasnt stopped bc there was no one there.after going to the e.r i had to go through the security metal detector trying to goto the pharmacy to pickup antibiotics/pain killers i could have easily had a firearm or knife on me bc i set off the metal detector and they brushed it off like it didnt matter...for all they know i could have had an 8 inch knife in my shoe or a firearm... or even a liberator in my waist band.ive always heard that security is a joke when i learned locksmithing... but this really takes the cake.why are they hireing worthless security that cant actually secure a building properly?when i entered i had no idea where to go to even get to the E.R to get help, hence why i had to flag down a doctor and get walked back to the E.R bc there is no lines or signs to direct you to it & the map they have in the cafeteria? doesnt say you are here.... so the map is honestly useless without that marker on it.... i was in alot of pain and couldnt figure out where i was even at on the map.also i went in in alot of pain they said they couldnt give opioids unless you break a leg or something bc of the epidenmic of fetynal... i personally dont like taking an addictive drug for pain releif but there are alternatives that are non addictive they could have given me but all they gave me was the same stuff im edgeing on an overdose using to curb my pain from target store that i had to pay out of pocket for without a presciption...next time i may end up going in for an overdose ontop of an infection bc i dont have another choice when it comes to managing my pain apperantly, or like alot of others just turn to the streets with alot of risk for pain managment since im already paying out of pocket for pain killers at a target store and the people on the street/black market seem to be the ones to turn to for actual help at a risk, since it only takes 15 mins on google play store/youtube to access those markets and order something to have shipped strait to your door.(which the beaverton police admitted they dont know anything about so we had to teach them using a custom made version of firefox)all i needed was something a bit stronger then 1000mg of acutametaphine & 1000mg of ibuprophen every 4hrs... when it only lasts 2hrs and takes off the edge off the pain i was having to tolerate.id rather goto a different hospital where i dont feel like im going through being scrutinized like this...admit date: 4/5/25 (review is late due to stuff ive had to deal with, also i still have the wrist band on bc its a thick plastic and i cant get it off my wrist mainly bc im homeless i dont have any kind of knife & i dont trust someone i dont know to use a knife next to my wrist.)side note: when u have to live with someone who is opioid dependant, abuses adderal from his doctor (currently) and used to get his opioids from a retired police officer that also served in the military....really makes you wonder where your respect for our country should actually be at....

The Pre Op nurse, Anesthesiologist, and Child Life Specialist ALL asked us to say in our own words what surgery we were having done. We told all 3 precisely why we were there and NOBODY said, that's not what my records are showing. The surgeon performed a completely different surgery than the one we prepared for with the help of multiple other professionals.Somehow the surgeon and hospital were not on the same page as the rest of our care team.I received notification from our insurance that they also did not authorize this surgery. And I am super curious what will happen moving forward. Nobody, not us and not our insurance, should have to pay for disrespect of bodily autonomy, disfigurement or medical abuse.

I just came to visit a friend who is going into surgery. First they charge 5.00 an hour to park, so I parked on road and passed three entrances that they have closed off. Then I finally found the mIn and only entrance and I had to go threw a metal detector and put my bag phone ect threw a different detector. Then I get to the room and a nurse told me she needed to do a bag check I thought she was just going to look in my bag that had work papers. The next thing I know a big security guy with a female comes in grabs my bag starts going threw my wallet every thing. No one can tell me why this happened
