Exceptional Care and Dedication from the Ophthalmology Department!nnI recently had the pleasure of receiving care from the ophthalmology department, and I am compelled to share my profound appreciation for the elite team of doctors and assistants.nThe determination, commitment, and compassion they exhibited were unparalleled. After years of seeking help for my declining vision, they resolved my issue in just one day. At 26 years old, with rapidly deteriorating eyesight, I was feeling quite anxious. However, the team made me feel like I was part of their family, and their expertise provided me with the relief I desperately needed.nTheir unwavering dedication to patient care and their community deserves the highest recommendation. I sincerely hope the ophthalmology team is recognized for their remarkable efforts and the positive impact they have made on my life and many others.nnThank you for your outstanding service!nnSincerely,nBrian Buster

What happened to Legacy clinic?? Over the past several years service has gotten so bad I don't know how they function at all. They screw up so much and their processes like Mychart and their Pharmacy are a joke. I tried to pause or stop a payment arrangement I made and they said they couldn't change it bc my debit card was set up in the app. The financial aid department can not pause a payment bc I have a debit card set up in the Mychart app. But i cant change or remove the card. How does that make sense!? I had to cancel my card just to stop them from charging it. Now they have gone to Quest diagnostics on their blood tests. I just spent nearly an hour trying to access my results but the Quest will not let me past it's Fort Knox security protocols. Even with my Texas ID. Please, somebody start running this medical establishment better. I miss the old days.

AVOID ALL LEGACY BRANCHES!nAvoid any legacy as the mediocre service is the same in most locations that I have been to. First of you can never get an appointment, it takes months 5+ to be able to get seen even just for basic primary Dr. if you need a specialist forget about it. Another thing, communication is HORRIBLE. If you have questions, need to speak to your doctor, need an issue addressed asap, donu2019t expect to get help soon your wait time is over 2 weeks. Your only line to direct contact with your doctor is thru their online portal message center. Canu2019t call your doctor thru phone their is no way youu2019ll will be sent thru numerous press 1-9 options just to be told at the end of the u201dweu2019ll send a message over to the doctoru201d and wonu2019t hear from them till weeks later. Your local emergency hospital will get you taken care of faster than this place just to put in perspective.

Iu2019ve been a client before they were at this location, itu2019s been that long. Over the years Iu2019ve discovered a few things. Overall the service is satisfactory. The issue is they have employees that have been at this location for a long long time. This creates two outcomes. Humility, gratitude, mastery of the client base they serve or, arrogance, mediocrity and complacency and poor judgement. I imagine from the number of stars Iu2019ve left one can assume which outcome Iu2019ve observed over the years. The issue is leadership, you can write a mission statement, you can set goals and intentions but if the leaders donu2019t have accountability then whole endeavor is baseless. I think those that started this platform are good people I think they have forgotten where and why they began this in the first place. Become a client and see u2026. Soon enough this will become a victim of its own success.

I wish Google offered a zero-star rating option. Some of the staff members show a lack of empathy and appear to be motivated only by their paychecks, treating patients however they wish. If you can find a different community health center, I strongly recommend going with that choice. The front desk staff and personnel are very disappointing. It's important to remember that Legacy Community Health, as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), receives government funding through the Health and Human Services (HHS).
