This is the best hospital hands down. I recently had a stay at Prism Health Richland and I can honestly say, Lexington takes the win. I will agree that the ER could use some work, but because I've worked in the ER before I know that hold times are not on purpose. There truly is a reason why everyone is not a priority in the ER. Please give ALL the emergency rooms some grace. I recently had a stay at Lexington Labor and Delivery and because my pregnancy is considered high risk my doctor spoke with me and we decided to move my healthcare to Prism because its the only hospital in Columbia that can treat a baby born before 32 weeks. These two hospitals are like night and day!!!!! Lexington is clean, updated, COMFORTABLE, and well received from my stay. Prism... I refused to stay overnight. Lexington has some of the best nurses and the rooms are very nice, spacious, clean, and updated. I was never ignored when I requested anything. The staff is helpful and understanding. I hope the hospital is working on having a facility to help pre term babies, because that's the only reason I had to transfer my healthcare out of Lexington and I am not at all happy about it. There is no other hospital I rather have my baby at in Columbia, and I hate that if I go into labor early I will have no choice. Please work on that! There are a lot of women being forced to have our babies in uncomfortable facilities because we have no choice.I've read some of the comments and everyone is entitled to their own opinion and own experience, but my experience both this year(a couple of days) and last year 2024 (2 stays, both a week long) was phenomenal. Once you get pass the ER it's a completely different experience. Please give kudos to Lexington, because trust me it could be worse. I left a review on Prism Health Richland if you would like to know the difference.

I recently engaged with LMC concerning my health. IThis visit was really personable and amazing. Almost all of the staff was compassionate, dedicated., and genuinely caring about my situation. I realized it is not the company that's bad, it's the people or person. The team I had was one the best that I have encountered. The vein finder was outstanding. I will forever be grateful ud83dude4f

Lexington urgent care provides caring and professional services, from the front desk, to the lab to Nurses/ doctors the wait time is minimal. I went in the early evening and the experience was amazing not expected after using other urgent care entities in different areas. I would recommend this facility. On the way home just one block stop at Lizard Thicket for some delicious down home ud83eudd58 food.

When you have to take a trip to the hospital it would be plenty beneficial to have nurses who are compassionate and show they care about your concerns. My significant other, the patient, felt like the majority of the staff were undermining his pain and he did not feel taken care of correctly. From my own observations some of the nurses clearly did not want to be there. Which I understand that their jobs must be extremely stressful I should not be able to hear a nurse speak loudly of their troublesome patient. Nurse Tonia, I heard specifically speaking of a different patient in room 6049 i believe. She was also my significant others nurse, room N8134, and she did not check his puke when we called for assistance, she just gave him the medicine. After she left the room I had to pour his vomit in the toilet to examine the blood within the puke. I should not have had to do that. She was not patient and was not very understanding. When you take a trip to the hospital, whether or not you get a caring nurse should never be a worry. I am highly dissatisfied and will not be returning to lmc for any emergency within the near future. Not to mention my medical data was involved in a data breach under lmc's trust.

The ER is great, staff is great. I have no money to pay, but that's OK, they'll send it to your taxes & your (already low) wages will be garnished. Who gave you them evil idea? The devil! Eff this hospital. Lex Med hates the poor
