Went in for just a covid test. Specifically made that clear. Dr walked in the room and I was charged for office visit. Explained what happened and I was told too bad so sad pay your bill. I'll pay an attorney 10x the cost of the bill based on the principle.

I felt like I was bothering them from the time I walked in the door. I then was told there's a $10 copay. I pull out a $20 bill and she says you don't have nothing smaller than that. I say no she tells me to go next door and get change. Now remind you I barely walked in there because I couldn't breathe and I was sweating profusely. After me asking can I charge it I just put it on my card then I was swabbed for covid and flu but the young lady was so scared to swab my nose she didn't even stick it all the way in my nose. so they told me I did not have the flu or covid they recommended me to go to the emergency room where I was told I in fact DO have the flu and have spent two days in the hospital now. Also the blood pressure cuffs didn't work so well. Overall it wasn't bad but I just didn't feel welcomed. Thankfully I have been treated and I'm feeling much better I hope you have a better experience. The one that young lady was concerned about me driving but that may have been for liability reasons only but I signed a paper and drove to St Joseph where I received much needed help.

Brought my mom in for bloodwork, and it took over an hour and a half. Very poorly staffed. Receptionist did not answer bell when rung. I watched multiple people come and go because of no response. Mom states they are the most inept people sheu2019s ever dealt with.

Outstanding service !!!!! I didn't think I had insurance. I paid the office visit fee out of pocket. I was seen and the doctor was VERY helpful and thorough. Set me at ease for what was going on. About 30 to 45 minutes after leaving, the secretary calls me.she took it upon herself to check my insurance. She said insurance IS ! active and she is refunding my office visit fee. They are awesome!! there. If you need emergency care .. go there !! They will treat you right at Bloomfield emergency medical care.
