I recently called Loudoun Medical Group to get clarification on a bill I received, and I was extremely disappointed with the experience. While I understand that I was charged for a visit, the bill itself was confusing. It showed credits from a previous visit and was compiled in such a way that it seemed to mix multiple visits, with no clear breakdown or justification of what the actual charges were for. This made it impossible to understand the line items or totals. When I reached out for help, the woman I spoke with was condescending and short, making me feel like I should already be familiar with what is an unnecessarily complicated billing process. Instead of helping clarify the charges, she seemed annoyed that I was asking questions. The process is far from straightforward, and itu2019s frustrating to deal with such an unprofessional and arrogant attitude when all I needed was a simple explanation.Iu2019m all for paying for services rendered, but I shouldnu2019t have to wade through a muddled bill that includes old charges and credits. Clear, transparent billing would be much appreciated, without the added stress of rude customer service. The administrative team at Loudoun Medical Group has a lot of room for improvement in their customer service and billing practices.

My experience with Megan Kish has been fantastic, she is attentive and is one of the few medical providers I've worked with that seems to genuinely care about her patients. My only feedback for the office is there is a disconnect between the provider and administrative side. Prior authorizations can sit in provider review for weeks and scheduling/messages can between the two seem to get missed.

Our credit card number appears to have been stolen during the billing process. We will be filing a police report. The payment process is very sketchy and payment info is not reported back to the doctoru2019s office so when we called to confirm whether they had actually received payment, they said they had no way of checking. Working with credit card company to clear fraudulent charges; be very wary of using any doctors that work with LMG!

Called for a billing question, lady getting annoyed before listening to the question. To the lady sitting on the end of the other line -If everyone had the knowledge billing issues , you wouldn't be working there. If you have taken the job of customer service please try to be patience and answer politely and to the Louden med group admin please instead of telling everyone to contact you, train your staff to be more nicer.

Edit: Don't let LMG's sanitized response below fool you. Physicians & other practitioner friends and acquaintances agree: Dealing with LMG, as patients, is not a good experience. I remain steadfast in my estimation that their portion of the healthcare transaction will not improve. If it were possible to avoid an LMG practice, I would. Turns out just about every provider in the area is a part of this monolith. The providers are, on the whole, great. Unfortunately:The desk staff at the providers's offices (while friendly & try to be helpful) aren't given much information so you're stuck with calling the corporate office. An office at which administration & billing is incredibly inefficient & slow. Even employees at LMG affiliated practices are left wondering what's going on with their own claims. The reason for this is clear: They were founded assist physicians and providers [with] a work life balance which is great. Healthcare worker burnout needs addressing. However, it turns out that providing billing and administrative services for 350+ Providers at 148 Clinical Locations is a lot. Perhaps too much for an organization of it's size.If you can, steer clear of LMG providers. The doctors are good. However, the administrative tail associated with LMG's handling will be long, confusing, and inefficient.
