I don't understand why the primary care office never calls in my refills. They tell me not to use the app and not to just send a message because it can be missed. So I call all the time and multiple times now I find out later that they never sent it over to the pharmacy and this is again another time where it's the weekend. Im out of my medication and I'll have to wait until Monday when I have to be at work and don't have time to go to the pharmacy. It should not be this hard.

Beware! They call themselves a u201cHospitalu201d even though it does not say that anywhere on the building. It does not provide any services of a typical hospital. I went for routine bloodwork and they billed it from a u201chospitalu201d setting so it went towards my deductible instead of being the normal not out of pocket expense. I see this has happened in older reviews so they donu2019t seem to care.

Highly unprofessional front desk staff at the GI office. I was told to go to Bryn Mawr when my appointment was actually at the Newtown Square office. The woman at Newtown Square who I spoke to was very rude and spoke down to me even after telling her I went to the office that was listed in my appointment confirmation email. She told me sheu2019d call me back to reschedule and hung up on me. Itu2019s been over a week and I havenu2019t received a call.

Disappointing, uninformed front office staff. I was wrongly charged a $40 copay when I recently checked in for a dexa scan. Even before I had arrived, it was my understanding that there was no copay required, nor had I been asked to make a payment when I had pre-registered online using MyChart. Moreover, the receptionist was impatient, and twice asked me for my credit card while I was still holding the clipboard, after filling out information I had already provided online. Finding her abrasive, I even replied by stating that I only had two hands, and would she please take the clipboard back first. When I got home, I called IBX to confirm that there was not supposed to be a copay, but they could not yet request a refund until after MLH submitted the claim. When I did then later call IBX to request a refund, the entire phone call took at least 15 minutes, including a 3 way conference connection with MLH billing, an unnecessary waste of time for everyone. The copay error was obviously not picked up by the system at any point, and I wouold have been erroneously out of pocket for $40 if I had not known to request a refund, which took about a week to then see credited. That said, my two experiences with professional imaging staff at the facility were exemplary.

I recently had my ultrasound procedure and the wait time was very quick. The procedure was done in less than 10 minutes and Madeline (the person doing it) was calm for me because I was getting a little nervous at first (I was nervous about doing it on the days leading up to it). If anyone gets an ultrasound, I would definitely recommend this location. I got it before at the Main Line Health in Wynnewood in 2018 and Stephanie was calm for me as well. That is why people should use Newtown Square.
