What a dump! Windows that looked like that hadnu2019t been cleaned/painted in years. Dirty blinds that didn't work. The drywall had gouges and was in desperate need of spackle and a fresh paint job. Furniture that looked like it had been picked up off the curb during garbage week. The floor needed to be cleaned. No bathroom in the room. Sink that backed up and had no hot water. A post surgical ICU nurse handed my husband a TV remote covered in bio matter. I looked at her in horror. I quickly took it from him. I gloved up and grabbed the PDI Super Sani-Cloth Disinfecting Wipes and wiped it down. I brought in a large mixing bowl, wash cloths, and towels to wipe him down because they weren't bathing him regularly (2 baths in 18 days). Avoid this place at all cost.

My son had an outpatient procedure done at Manatee Memorial Hospital and everything ran very smoothly there. Patient care was stellar, from the moment we got the first call to set up the procedure until they wheeled him to the car when the procedure was over. The staff was friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be doing their jobs. The nurses and doctors were professional and explained what would take place every step of the way, making me and my son very comfortable. I have nothing but positive things to say about the experience.

Had to go to ER. First time in this hospital. Was fast and courteous. DR Scott Rineer was excellent. MRI was fast but injected contrast hurt. Nurses and staff were nice. Didn't seem very sterile. One nurse brought me a heated blanket but no pillows were available so she gave me a folded up blanket. Only complaint I have was even after discharge no one would bring me water to drink. Not many staff around during lunch hour which was during my release. Overall the experience was great. In and out approximately 4 hours as I lie there wanting water to drink. Overall I give 4 stars

Absolutely amazing group of folks. Peggy was wonderful during registration. Brian did a great job during my pre-op session - zero pain needle! Amy was my nurse, during my surgery morning setup and she was just the perfect ray of sunshine to make things far less stressful. The anesthesiologists were actually quite a fun pair.. And young Miss Alex in post op. What an absolute legend. She was wonderful beyond words. The entire staff, for that matter. Everyone I had even the slightest interaction with was simply a joy to be around. It made the whole experience so much easier. I genuinely can't thank everyone enough. A+ ... 5 Stars all around.

The care I received from all staff was great so I would give them five stars. The three stars would be for what follows,When I arrived at my room around 5 PM On Monday, 28 April, the first bed was vacated at some point that day and was a mess. Stuff all over, food left on the tray, bedding in disarray. Was surprised at the rooms were semi private rooms. Shower had no hot water. The sink was in the center of the main room so no privacy. I had to ask for a gown as my bed was made, but not set up at all for a new arrival. The windows were covered up on the outside.I feel that I shouldu2019ve been released on Tuesday, April 29 because the cardiologist came in at around 6:45 am and ordered two tests for that day , at least I thought it would happen that day. My echocardiogram happened late morning and because I ate breakfast since no one told me I couldnu2019t, I would have to wait at least six hours to have the CT Angiogram. After waiting until 3:15 PM I asked the nurse if she knew if the test would be happening as I had nothing to eat since 7:30 in the morning and sadly she said they couldnu2019t do the test and I would have to wait until Wednesday. At that point, I decided if they could not do it in the morning and all the bloodwork and tests they had done didnu2019t have any serious findings that I would want to be discharged and I would follow up with my doctor when I got back to Toledo Ohio.
