Absolutely no urgency from the emergency room staff. There were only a couple cars here when we arrived, and nobody in the waiting room. Sat in empty waiting room for 15 minutes before triage nurse came out. She spent more time talking about herself. Husband in a lot of pain and hard for him to walk. She asked if he could walk to room, as it was only a 20 foot walk. He said yes. Was actually over 80 feet. I pointed that out to her and she chuckled. Only passed one other occupied room on the walk. A non medical employee popped in and we commented on the lack of urgency, and that person said, this place is known for not moving fast.u201d When we arrived and were walking back to room at 7am, a male nurse was joking and I heard him say, Bay City doesn't wake up til 11am. They were even joking at 7am how empty this place was!!! Why the heck was there no urgency in helping my husband? 4 and a half hours after arriving, and after several other issues that I haven't included in this review, I went to the nurse's desk. The nurse told me to hang on and she took a call. She said u201cJose Quervou201d a couple times to the person on the phone. While I waited, I noticed that it said u201cin transitu201d by my husband's name. After she got off the phone, I asked if we were just waiting for him to be moved. She said yes. I turned around and saw a guy walking into my husband's room. He took him to his room. He, and the staff on his floor were great. The emergency room department never gave him his medication, their communication was terrible, they were all on their cell phones and talking abour personal issues, and even other hospital staff confirmed that there wasn't really any other patients in the E.R. when we were there. I have never seen an emergency department so terrible and lazy. Completely disgusting.UPDATE: They said to email them. I tried, and the email they listed says it is undeliverable .

I was admitted for AFIB at McLaren for 6 days. Every single nurse was extremely knowledgeable with my situation they took the time to sit and explain to me every single acronym that was given to me. I had multiple Drs and every single one of them was very professional friendly and helpful in explaining my situation. I donu2019t plan on going there again but I was extremely impressed with the burger as far as hospital food goes!Thank you!

Really wanted to give a shout out to doctor Simmons he is the best, I've come in to the er for many different reasons and he's always shown me such kindness and thorough care. He even sat down with me when I found out I was pregnant and gave me the pep talk I needed to follow through this pregnancy and I'm so greatful for that. When I doubted myself, he didn't doubt me one bit. All of the nurses were wonderful as well.

Everyone that took care of me at the hospital was very nice.Professional and careing. I did have a bit of a problem with one of the physical therapists.I believe her name was vicky, she just insisted that I do what I could not do! I was in too much pain and I started crying it was terrible. But that was the only part of my stay that was bad. The rest was wonderful. Everyone was so good to me. I appreciate very nice, can't say Enough good things about him! Thank you all very much.

My visits and tests at the West Branch site have been positive. All the staff have been very courteous and professional. Front staff PA Tomzak, Dr. Lee, and staff who administered the Cardo tests were very good.
