I have been a patient here for years. I came here Monday for a serious throat infection and they gave me medicines. I called 24 hours later asking for something stronger that it did not provide any relief and I needed to go back to work but they refused. I came back today Thursday 4 days later, explaining that itu2019s still hurting and infected and now it has travelled to my sinuses on top of it. I cannot work, I left work to come back to request stronger medicine. Again I have requested stronger antibiotic and stronger pain aid and again they refused. You are better off going to Telle Doc and paying half the price. Never again, itu2019s crazy like I would ask this for no reason. Terrible, they wouldnu2019t even talk to me directly had the receptionist do it. Worst experience and will not be back. This place used to be good.

I am truly not the person to leave reviews but I feel like i just got scammed by these people. I got some blood work done six of them to be exact after seeing the physician and He told me !!! u201c Once you we receive your result Iu2019ll seat with you to discuss it.u201d and if you need to see a specialist then Iu2019ll let you know. I came in today 4/1 ask for my results lady told me I have to schedule in appointment for $90 to discuss my results with the physician . What ??? I already paid $250 for my blood work. Itu2019s unprofessional and money grabber activity and clearly unfair.

My daughter went on 3-28-25 around 3:30pm and paid for a consultation plus blood work. $550 for blood testing and $175 for consultation fee. The doctor DID NOT examine her at all! Didn't do anything except order the blood work. I called yesterday to complain about this and told them how is it possible that she paid all that money and the doctor didn't even do a thorough exam?? Didn't even listen to her heart or check the area she is having pain in? I asked if a doctor can see her because she was not examined even though she paid for the consultation. She went because she wasn't feeling well at all and paid out of pocket since she has no insurance. What kind of medical office is this if they charge for a consultation WITHOUT examining the patient?? She said she wanted to ask the doctor questions but all he did was send the nurse to draw blood. This is malpractice!! The front desk person at Helix told me she would call my daughter but never did. She said that her manager would have to speak directly to her due to HIPAA policy since she's 20 but nobody called her! Also l was told that there is no doctor there until Monday. What kind of urgent care is open on the weekend yet has no doctor there?? I don't believe it. NOW we're here at the ER because she got worse. I think the LEAST they can do is refund her the consultation fee because she DIDN'T get an examination.

I made an online appointment, entered all of the pertinent data and arrived on time. I had to fill out forms (same data I already entered). By the time I filled out the forms by hand (which was typed in by the staff !?!) gave my ID, INS cards for them to scan etc, 30 min had gone by. I waited another 20 as other patients went to the back. I went to the desk and said u201cexcuse me, I had an appointment scheduled; nearly an hour has gone by.. was my turn coming up soon?u201dnnAt THAT point they told me patients are seen u201cfirst come, first servedu201d basis. When I asked why they had online appointment scheduling if they were not going to honor it, they again said thatu2019s their policy: u201cfirst come, first servedu201d. So I asked how much longer Iu2019d be waiting and was told u201cAt least an another houru201d. I told them I was not wasting another minute there and to cancel the appointment.nnThe whole process is redundant, just checking in took forever. They DO NOT HONOR online appointments, so donu2019t bother.nnThe only reason I didnu2019t give a one star is that the woman that processed me in was pleasant and apologetic that it all took so long, one redeeming quality at Helix.

If zero stars were an option thatu2019s what Iu2019d put ! This place is COMPLETELY unprofessional. They turned away my elderly grandmother who the swollen hands because they were closing in 15 minutes. What kind of patient care facility does that to an elderly person seeking medical help that isnu2019t hospital worthy. DO NOT GO HERE they donu2019t care about patients or helping people only about collecting a paycheck. I can only imagine what the quality of care is here if you ACTUALLY get seen.
