Will not treat you appropriately. This is a residency. That means the doctors are students and you're the test. You better hope they don't fail because you and your health are literally on the line. Unless you are relatively healthy, with no chronic issues, seek an alternative.

My husband and I have had excellent care with a friendly staff. The residents listen and work hard to help. The mentor doctors give support to the residents.

I see a lot of comments upset that this is a rotating residency program. But, if you looked at their site at all before making an initial appointment, or read through the initial paperwork, you should know that. Doctors have to start somewhere to learn and this place gives you good care if itu2019s straightforward - you may be better off seeing a single PCP if your case is complex though as the rotations can make things difficult. My husband goes here for a couple years now and has had no real issues. Weu2019ve been able to work with their team to get solutions to issues like, the phones being so busy we couldnu2019t get through to make an appt (set up mySparrow acct to schedule them or call 1st thing in the morning and have had no more issues). There are plenty of good doctors here, excited to care for people and ready to learn. Itu2019s not the ideal place for everyone and thatu2019s okay, itu2019s why we have the freedom to choose our PCP offices.

After many bad experiences I decided that after what happened today.. I would write a review. Aside from them constantly misdiagnosing and trying to over medicate my family constantlyu2026 they are horrible with scheduling and communication. Today my daughter had her 8 year well child check. Her appointment was at 11am this morning. We got to the window at 10:55 am with no issues. The older blonde receptionist hands us the paperwork and questionnaire to fill out so my husband, daughter, and I fill it out and wait to be seen. After awhile we noticed people who walked in after us were getting called back so my husband starts to wonder what is going on. Itu2019s now 11:25am without being seen. Then the receptionist calls us to the window to tell me u201cyour check in time was at 10:45, the appointment is at 11am. We can not see her today.u201d Which is completely ridiculous because 1) I have already E-checked her in from the MySparrow App and 2) why would wait 30 minutes after checking us in and giving us our paperwork to tell us that!? If we were late I would understand and would expect not to be seen. To add to my review I would also like to point out that they have decided to hire Brooke Lemen DO which is the same doctor who hid medical records for gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar (donu2019t know who that is.. google him and her both). As soon as we found out (because they tried to have her see my youngest daughter) we switched doctors within the office.nThis was not okay and Iu2019ve tried for years to keep my family in this office because all four of my kids and now my husband are patients here. We will absolutely be switching doctors offices. They do not care about their patients and hopefully something will change soon now that U of M has taken over.

I have searched a long time for the perfect fit for my healthcare needs. I am very pleased with the care that I receive and the care that my family receive. I am very thankful for the men and women who are there working hard to provide good patient care.
