I went to this urgent care due to really bad congestion and a cough and over the counter medication wasnu2019t working for me, the nurse said it may be a sinus infection. The doctor came it while waiting for results on test and said it could just be a virus and left. Then the receptionist came it and said I was negative for the common virus and rushed me out, the doctor didnu2019t even come back in to acknowledge or check me for a sinus infection. I was not prescribed anything for my discomfort, I was just told to u201ckeep doing what I was doingu201d even though I told them it wasnu2019t working. It was a waste of my time and money.

The Front desk staff was amazing! Friendly and welcoming! The nurse and doctor (service provider) were also very nice, efficient and willing to answer my questions. Overall, I was in and out quickly but I didn't feel like I was being rushed or like I wasn't being listened to. Made the experience great overall. Much better than the last time I was in at that location. I think it might have been owned / operated by a different company / hospital. But even if it was the same as it is now, the people who you have at the front desk do a great job of setting the tone and flow of the experience which is so important! Again, they were amazing!

I can't express how helpful this staff was. From the receptionist, to the nurses, to the PA. They were truly wonderful and patient. Came in with a 2 year old for stitches and they got us right in and treated my son with great care and patience. I am very appreciative of you all. Thank you!!

It was terrible. I had an appt at 9:20am.The nurse in Dr T's office took down all of my symptoms and stated she would contact urgent care and provide the same. She also indicated that they would be able to provide labs and IV fluids. I was concerned since I knew I was severely dehydrated but I would prefer not to go to the hospital if this could be managed at Yale urgent care. I had been vomiting and had diarrhea every 20minutes for 3 days. I had a low grade temp and initially a severe h/a. So after arriving at urgent the nurse proceeds to ask me all the information that I already provided to the office nurse. When you are severely ill you don't expect redundancy ...you just want what was promised labs AND IV fluids. Urgent care is a gross misnomer. This was a waste of time after waiting over 1 hour for a scheduled appointment now to wait to see a provider that has no ability in this setting to provide what I needed. Because of this I had to go to the Emergency room and now wait over two hours to be seen. I received 2 liters of fluid due to the severity of the dehydration and an IV antiemetic. They did the labs. When you are ill you just want to be treated. I was so sick I couldn't even pick up my head. I needed a wheelchair to leave due to fear of falling due to how weak I was To call this walk- in urgent care when you can't provide this is beyond words how I feel about this experience. To have the Yale brand attached to this facility concerns me. You need to remove the word urgent since that certainly does not fit as it is today...or step it up and provide the services that warrant this designation. This has been a horrific experience. Additionally, my husband and I chose to go to St Vincent's. We had a positive experience at St Vincent's/Hartford Hospital.I advise anyone reading this to go directly to the Emergency room if you are as ill as I am since Urgent care is unable to provide urgent care. I give 1 star for the PA that was very concerned for me and apologized for not being able to provide what I needed.
