Two days was not enough time, and doing some research before you go is recommended so you know what you want to see and how to do it, especially if you have limited time. The upper loop is where the animals mostly are, lower all of the thermal/geyser stuff. You'll have better luck seeing animals in the morning and evening. We saw a LOT of bison, raven, elk. The only wolf we saw was from a far, far distance that was difficult to make out. No moose or bear.nnThe park has stunning views. Everything is amazing. We went at the beginning of May, and it was still snowing here and there. Next time we go, it'll definitely be for longer to take our time.

Words can't even begin to describe this incredible place. If you are ever in the area, you should make the time or just plan a trip to experience this wonderful place. It's a very large park that requires a bit of driving to see all the sights, but it's very worth the time and $35 entry fee.

Our favorite national park is Yellowstone. We have visited 4 times in the last 5 years. Camped in the campgrounds, twice. The most important takeaway is respect the wildlife and the landscape. Bison in the park are known to roam. They can pop up quickly. This includes the campgrounds. On both occasions, our campsite had Bison and other critters. When you are traveling in the park, stay on the designated trails and walkways. Lines can be long. Parking lots can be full. But this park is worth every moment. We are already planning to return. Please support our parks.
