I canu2019t believe there is ZERO post-op On-Call advisor available, for neither your center NOR the surgeon , and neither was I at least forewarned of this, NOR is it noted on the DC paperwork , esp. after having Gen Anesthesia for extensive surgery with you today. Just a few hours after leaving your center I discovered a very distressing post-op complication at home , with multiple wounds that apparently reopened almost immediately after surgery, judging by the shocking amount of blood stains covering the entire interior of my pants which I put on after having been cleaned up post-op (black exterior but beige interior pants, so didnu2019t realize until went to restroom!) u2026 totally inadequate derma-glue, as multiple wounds are visibly now halfway opened & bleeding continually.nnI then called Memorial hospital directly in a panic , after discovering no help calling yu2019all NOR any guidance on the DC papers, so quite distressed at that point, only for no help from ER then a main hospital supervisor very apologetically confirming truly NO on-call medical professional who can advise me ALL WEEKEND despite surgery with their OWN affiliated center/ surgeon.nnCan no one reach out to me ??? I canu2019t get a ride to ER and canu2019t drive after anesthesia and moreover canu2019t afford to waste an enormous ER expense for something that can and should 100% FIRST be addressed/advised at least over phone or text etc, plus there is NOTHING about this surely very common complication in ANY of the DC paperwork (poured over by myself AND family I shared it with, numerous times, in disbelief), which is actually chock FULL of errors / instructions that donu2019t even apply to me, like addressing only sutures and dressings care, neither of which you gave me. It in fact somewhere says to Not put additional dressings and no water or ointment - with no tip on HOW then to safely clean/handle my IMMEDIATELY OPENED WOUNDS to prevent infection / inadequate healing, etc . Even searching Google extensively we could find no clear consensus on what to do. Itu2019s been a nightmare , canu2019t sleep as Iu2019m so anxious about it , esp. on top of feeling continued wound pain while also dizzy and nauseated on meds.nnI am EXTRMELY shocked you / the surgeon would operate surgeries / post-op like this , especially sending me home with multiple inadequately sealed wounds ? u2026 Note, I literally went straight from car to flat on the couch before discovering the issue; I was far too dizzy AND half asleep to do anything remotely possibly to have caused these to reopen so immediately and prematurelyu2026. No one called to check on me post op, which wouldu2019ve been a godsend , as has always been the kindness extended at any other surgery Iu2019ve had EVER... The doc did not stick around at the center to touch base with me after the procedure, this was also extremely surprising AND distressing ... There is NO surgeon follow-up appointment OR info on my DC paperwork, despite being told there WOULD , instead thereu2019s just a totally different unrelated doc listed to remind me of an appt I scheduled LONG ago with a wholly unrelated issue / specialty / etc(!!).nnI had to be at your center from 7am to 4pm, i ended up very last to be seen, and I can only surmise from overheard convo/ observed comments over the extensiveness of my procedure , that Iu2019m truly afraid staffs readiness to go home perhaps resulted in my evidently rushed sealing of wounds (no shiny glue at all on several bleeding/ gaping portions ) , many of which wounds also appear surprisingly rough AND haphazard in their cut, which is also so distressing as I was pre-op expressing my big concerns to minimize scarring for so many planned excisions u2026 In the end I was required to leave while still half-asleep , clearly the last patient and I know staff understandably trying to get home, but by the time I noticed my bleeding pants , they were conveniently closed. Waiting to Monday for your / doc office to reopen is completely further distressing .nnStaff/doc had been so sweet in many ways, but this has been a nightmare .

The best! Everyone is so very helpful and friendly and answer any questions you have. Dr. Dix is the best anesthesiologist. I always do non- sedation as long as itu2019s permitted.. Dr. Dix lets you know everything he is doing and makes you feel very comfortable the whole time. Personality says a lot and Dr. Dix has a very good professional personality. A very great staff!!

Very talented employees from the office staff, technicians, my physician. Very clean, comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Most Amazing anaestegeologist he made me feel more confident in all of their expertise. My nurses were tentative and pleasant with excellent nursing skills. They were good at anticipating my physical needs and kept me in the best care I've ever had.nI would give them 100 stars if possible.
