I want to personally thank Kelly in the scheduling office. She helped our family with an issue of getting a required blood test before a pet scan. She went over and above to help us figure out what to do and resolve the issue. And, she was so very understanding and pleasant. She made a suggestion and also followed up with a phone call to ensure our problem was resolved. Thank you so much Kelly. It was a great blessing to have you answer my phone call.

They pick and choose who to respond to. No one ever followed up with me about my review from back in June 2024 when my son and I came here by ambulance from a car accident. I also sent feedback directly to the hospital after doing the survey and no response. Interesting how I no longer even see my initial review.

Hands down the worst hospital within 100 miles. I'd rather go to Urgent Care. I've been here a bunch bc I live close and when I cant stop the bleeding or just need a quick stitch job I'm forced to. I got surgical super glue just so I don't have to come here anymore. Had a few out-pt procedures here for the same reason. WORST bedside manner from 95% of the staff. I'm shocked this place hasn't been shut down yet. Do yourself and your kids/ family and favor drive an hour or 2 to CGH or SNGH. Trust me you'll live longer. These people had me here for a week for an infection and tried to cut my leg off. Had a nurse sneak in my room and jab me in the stomach w blood thinners hours b4 the OR. Didn't even tell me just pretty much jumped me. And the orders said NO thinners bc of surgery. I had a head admin guy tell me to please go to SNGH bc they are about to cut your leg off for no reason. They refused to give me my medications so i had to have my wife smuggle them in. And therr was NO reason i coukdnt have them. Go ANYWHERR but here. Cardio just told me some craziness that I don't even want to explain. When I told him I was in the medical field he just walked out bc he knew I wasn't going to fall for the same speech he gives everyone.

If you can go somewhere else do. I waited 4 hours was put back in a room saw a nurse and was then told to go sit back out in the waiting room they needed the room for other patients. The ER desk receptions was rude and not very pleasant there is not pleasantries I didnu2019t see the Dr. I was diagnosed and nurse gave me info and script. Next time Iu2019ll go to Edenton.

I was treated okay. Hospital was packed. First room okay (387). They moved me to room 325. Going to discharge. I went to brush my teeth and I turned on the water and it was either worms or noodles but came out of the sink. Nasty slim!!!!! I just wanted out before I got sicker. May rethink where I go next time. Pretty bad.
