This place is exceptional! My son injured his finger and I took him to the Emergent Care Plus located at 135th and Roe in Leawood, KS, where they cleaned his finger and sent us home. Ten days later the swelling had not gone down so I took him to the Menorah Urgent care. They X-Rayed his hand and gave him an antibiotic. The doctor explained the severity of the break in my son's finger as he showed us the X-Rays. He also referred us to an orthopedic surgeon. I questionned that it was just a finger and would an orthopedic really do anything. He pointed out on the X-Rays how it was not just a tip and that my son's bone was broken in a way he had not seen before and that it definitely needed fixed. My son under went hand surgery and now has a pin through the broken piece of bone, into the remaining piece of bone and through the first joint. 5 more weeks and the pin can come out. The staff and doctor were fantastic. The orthopedic hand surgeon that he referred us to was amazing. She stated that if we had gotten my son in sooner she could have manipulated the bone back into place without surgery. IF ONLY I HAD GONE TO MENORAH FIRST!!!
