When I left the emergency room, my paperwork did not match the stuff that I told them nor did it match the stuff that they said was wrong with me. I had to in fact go to medical records a few days later(once I noticed) and have the papers amended, and I'm waiting on them to print out the right stuff and send it to me because this is dealing with a lawsuit and insurance reasonings with my accident, and it's going to be an issue with false pape report that they gave me.

The dismissal of patients is awful. You wait and wait. Even if you ask how long it will be they say they will find out then never come back. Was told at 9:30 he was getting dismissed. We got there at 12:00 he was still in bed not dressed no where ready to leave. Took another 2 hours. That is ridiculous.

Went to the ER at 11pm with my son with severe left ear and head pain, his left side of his face was swelling and he had a rash all over in his face. Take 3 hour wait and they always say they donu2019t have rooms available. My son was crying, he was in pain for so many hours. I took my son back home, gave him some Tylenol and scheduled an online appointment with his regular doctor.

Outstanding job by MercyOne North Iowa Emergency Room Staff when they had a full house 1/12/2024. Checked in with Pam who was exceptionally nice upon my arrival, than I found a seat in their waiting room & was so excited they had sitcoms on tv watch! When I was taken back to a room, I had the most amazing nurse named Cassidy who took such good care of me and addressed all my concerns for me. Dr. Studer was quite a character and taking into consideration my complex medical background we agreed on a diagnosis plan TOGETHER!! Everybody in the emergency room team, that helped me, worked so complimentary together! Sara was going to draw my blood but Cassidy realized I needed an IV so they both helped each other out! Diane came and swept me away for some ultrasounds and she was so considerate and nice to talk throughout. Next Jil was about to whisk me away for my CT & Cassidy had just got an order approved for some meds so Jil talked with us while waiting for them to be administered and it was like everybody in that department was truly good friends! I was so impressed with how well everybody worked together and seamlessly took care of me despite the super hectic evening I knew they were having with such a full ER! Not a single worker seemed rushed or got impatient with each other or myself! I didnu2019t catch the registration gentlemanu2019s name but he was the perfect combo of funny and efficient! Everybody kept apologizing for u201cthe waitu201d but time just seemed to fly by!

Mason city is ok with gender bias , and did great mental and physical damage to me . On Dec 13,2019. The care I received was a violation of my rights mentally and physically. No surprise that they get away with it . because disabled women are the most vulnerable and abused . Unable to get respect for their needs.
