I was happy to discover the online appointment and registration procedures were easy to follow and complete. When I arrived at MiniER for my appointment, I was relieved to see a bright, clean waiting/reception area. The receptionist greeted me right away. I didnu2019t have to wait long before I was taken back by a very nice and efficient med assistant for the initial assessment and vitals. A kind, patient, and knowledgeable PA completed the exam and thoroughly explained the diagnosis and treatment plan. I have shared my great experience with family and friends and will not hesitate to seek urgent care at this facility in the future.

I was greeted promptly, and seen promptly. The intake staff was efficient. Eric did the initial assessment, then took an x-ray. Alex, the P.A. did the examination. Alex was friendly, courteous, respectful, and professional at all times. Her diagnosis and follow-up treatment plan were explained in terms I could understand. Very clear. Great bedside manner. Thank you both!

This is why I never go to the doctor. If I go to the doctor, itu2019s because I feel like something is very wrong/Iu2019m in a lot of pain and I canu2019t solve it myself, otherwise itu2019s a waste of time and money. And coming here just proved me right again.I came in because I have a cyst in my finger that has been there for years, and it has been causing me a lot of pain recently because of studying. If it was just a tiny bit of pain, I would not have come in at all. However, it has been very painful and I am not able to extend my finger fully without it hurting. Iu2019m giving 2 stars instead of 1 only because the ladies at the desk were nice and the place seemed clean.First, when they called me in, they got my name wrong. Okay, whatever, just a little mistake. I was the only one there so I knew it was me and I just told them the right one. But when I got in my room, I could hear them talking through the wall about how u201cI swore she said her name was ____ but she said it was wrongu201d or something. Iu2019m not sure if they were saying I told them the wrong name (I wrote my name correctly on my forms), but talking about your patient through thin walls doesnu2019t seem like the right thing to do.THEN, the doctor comes in and takes my vitals and stuff, and asks for any medications Iu2019m taking. I tell her, and she asks u201cfor ADD or ADHDu201d? So ADD hasnu2019t been used as a medical term since the late 1990u2019s or so, at least in a medical setting. So I thought it was weird a doctor was still mentioning ADD in 2025. But whatever. So I tell her my symptoms, and she just quickly examines my finger and feels it once and tells me itu2019s a ganglion cyst (I knew it was probably that since I checked beforehand, but I didnu2019t bring it up to the doctor since I wanted to see what an actual doctor thinks it is).For ganglion cysts, people mention a method of hitting it with a book, and for some reason this doctor brought it up to me?? She said she u201cwouldnu2019t recommend it, but sometimes people just hit it with a book.u201d So if she wouldnu2019t recommend it, why would she bring it up to me in the first place as a medical professional?? Since itu2019s in my finger and itu2019s hurting, itu2019s probably pressing up against a tendon or nerves, so hitting it with a book could cause damage. If I was someone else and I didnu2019t know that, and I heard about this method from this doctor, I couldu2019ve tried it myself and possibly damaged my nerves in my finger.I only went to the doctor because I was hoping someone could drain it, but she said she couldnu2019t due to the location and Iu2019d have to see a hand specialist. Ok thatu2019s fine. So she gave me a referral to see one but also prescribed me steroids to manage the pain. But also told me I could take Advil or Tylenol to manage the pain, toou2026 but not to take Ibuprofen with the steroidsu2026.. So, Advil is actually a brand name for Ibuprofen. But she said I could take Advil and not Ibuprofenu2026.?Anyways, I understand why she couldnu2019t remove my cyst, and Iu2019m a bit relieved SHE didnu2019t because it couldu2019ve damaged something. But I felt very dismissed and misinformed from that doctor. Also, the getting my name wrong and talking about me behind the walls was a bit annoying. When I came home, my finger was hurting so badly even when nothing was pressing against it I was crying from the pain. I donu2019t really leave bad reviews, but leaving there $50 out when money is tight just to be told to take Advil and a steroid, and still being in pain, ruined it for me. Iu2019ll probably never come back here again if I have a problem just because of the experience with that one doctor. This is why people donu2019t want to go to the doctor, because of the dismissiveness and high costs. And then when you really need one, youu2019re not sure if itu2019s worth it or not. Also, she didnu2019t offer to do any scans to confirm that it was what she stated, or the location and structure of the cyst. I should have pushed for scans, but patients shouldnu2019t have to push for these things to be heard from doctors. Thanks for making me not want to come to the doctor even more, even when I might really need it.

You can tell that they really care about you. Theyu2019re very thorough, but also quick, which is nice because no one wants to be at a doctorsu2019 all day. The doctor even asked me if I was feeling better since my last visit with them even though the two visits were unrelated. 10/10
