Literally the most incompetent and lazy set of people Iu2019ve encountered in a long time. We needed our mail box rekeyed. It took FOUR WEEKS. Which meant we had to go in to pick up our mail for that length of time. The first time I went to prick it up, it took almost FORTY MINUTES just to get my mail. The woman at the front desk would send me to a door and to ring a doorbell to u201cwait for a supervisor.u201d I did as told; that doorbell doesnu2019t even work, so youu2019ll just stand there like an idiot waiting for this so-called supervisor. I stood there with my baby in her car seat for TWENTY MINUTES before anyone even acknowledged my presence. Absolutely ridiculous and mind-boggling. My husband would go in to get mail and ask for updates on key. Nobody ever knew anything; they were too busy listening to loud music on their headphones and dancing around to even check the status of our keys. The only reason we even got them was because we reported them and talked to our lovely mail carrier, who took it upon himself to deliver the keys to us, which we greatly appreciated.nnNever go to this location. I promise you will spend less time driving to another location than you will at this place. I will never, ever come to this location again. They need to completely redo their staffing, honestly. Just take my advice and go to another post office.

Oh, boy. If you have to go to the counter, expect a line and only one person staffing it. If you have to call there, expect the runaround (if you can get them to answer). If you put in for a package pickup at your house, expect for them to skip it. Their only saving grace is that you can drop off pre-paid packages at a designated area without having to stand in line. If it weren't for that they'd be getting one star.

Fairly long wait time, but they seemed understaffed so Iu2019m not holding that against the store. However, the employee working the desk at the time of my visit was throwing packages around, quite literally. One was thrown 15-20 feet down the hallway. The customers waiting in line were all looking at each other with a sense of disbelief. When I approached the counter, I asked if there were any fragile labels/stickers to which they responded u201cNou201d and proceeded to toss my packages that had very valuable items in them into the bin behind the counter. This employee was friendly but did not have much regard for the wellbeing of the items inside those boxes. My guess is that they were doing this to keep up with the amount of items being dropped off, but still. Iu2019m hoping my packages make it to their destination in tact.

Huntersville post office-just had yet another (but this was by far the worst) incident of rudeness at the post office on Gilead.nI went in to mail a package and while waiting in line an older woman who was in front of me was inquiring whether or not she was charged for stamps that she didnu2019t receive. They helped her, it was determined that she had left without picking them up-no big deal.nThen I approached the desk with my package. The staff member (who had sold the stamps originally to the older lady) was ringing me up. She was on her phone, speaking very condescending about the customer and even said u201cI had to put her in her placeu201d in addition to other choice words. I was disgusted. Why is it ok to speak like that about a customer at the workplace in front of a room full of customers??nWhen I said u201cthat was rude of youu201d the staff member immediately put her hand up as if to dismiss me and repeated u201cbye byeu201d as she waved her hand at me.nNope! I called, spoke to Denise who said she was the interim postmaster and made my complaint. She called me back of course defending her employeeu2019s behavior.nWhatu2019s going on over there? Is there a better post office I can go to?

Just left the post office after speaking with the postmaster ( Denise ) for a issue i had. Not sure how she got the job she is the rudest and very un professional .It appears she is there as a seat warmer and not to assist with customer service issues. At no point did she apologize for the issue I was having and implied it was my fault. When is it ok for a supervisor to argue with a customer and close the door in their face. The service in that location has gone down over the years. Denise is not an asset to this location and needs to be retrained, relocated and not work in a customer facing role. USPS needs to be more selective in the people they hire, more than just passing a test is a must. She really needs to be fired, I don't know any customer service job where you are rude to customers and you keep your job. I don't say this lightly this is not a one off incident , there are other complaints online about this person and the behavior has not changed
