Been taking my kids here for 4 years, but recently switched to a new office. Unclear and late diagnosis of milk protein diagnosis left my baby suffering for weeks. On top of that I was given expired formula and ended up taking my baby to the ER after consumption of it. Didnu2019t think to check the expiration date on the samples bc I assumed since they didnu2019t have it Monday and had it on Wednesday then it wouldnu2019t be old. Plus itu2019s a pediatric office! Why are they not checking their samples and discarding the expired ones regularly? The formula is pictured below and I received it on Nov 25th 2024 they were expired as of Sept 1, 2024. I even called the office manager about the situation and she said sheu2019d get back to me about it and never did.

We have been patients here for 4 ish years. While we primarily see Dr Shilpa (who is FANTASTIC) we also have wonderful experiences with every nurse we speak with and Dr ONeil and the NP have also taken care of my children when Dr Shilpa have been out. The office is clean and inviting, the murals are great for keeping my kids busy and they love to see which room theyu2019ll get.nMy kids both have medical complexities and if they donu2019t know they are willing to research and find out. Update after 5 years as patients and an additional kid later: still all true!nnWeu2019ve been with them for 8 weeks and couldnu2019t be happier with our choice for our first child! The atmosphere, location, staff, and doctors are all exceptional. We plan to be with them as long as we are in St. Louis. We love Dr. Shilpa!

Southwest Pediatrics is amazing and Iu2019m saying this as a medical professional myself. Dr. Aubuchon is incredible: whip smart, succinct while also being very empathic and warm. Every time I go there I feel so encouraged and reassured as a new parent. And the nursing and other support staff are wonderful as well. They are doing a great job managing precautions during the pandemic. I just canu2019t say enough good about this practice!

i canu2019t speak on the actual doctors here, as far as receptionists, one of the worst experiences iu2019ve ever had! she was extremely rude. she tried to say that my daughter did not have insurance even though i had my card! i asked her to call the number and they would also confirm she was on my insurance and she refused! thankfully a nurse came over to us to step in because she was even shocked! she took care of us but i will not be returning! if she had an issue with our insurance, she could have addressed it nicely, but instead she called me a liar straight to my face.
