VA sent me there because they couldn't see me. Saw the doctor within 10+15 minutes which was fine. Things went downhill from there. Treatment for an ear infection consisted of her inflecting maximum pain to me by pushing a scope into my infected ear to confirm that I had an infection. She prescribed medicine that did not help. When I got to see my VA doctor, she prescribed completely different meds that worked. I need to add that in spite of no blood or urine test being done at the urgent care, I received a bill for lab test for the visit. Dr. Laura Miller was the attending physician and should look for a different line of work. As for the lab bill, it is being looked into by the VA as well as the billing agency.

I waited 1 hour and 20 minutes to be taken back to see the provider. Which isnu2019t even the reason for the 1 star review. The provider introduced herself but did not do anything regarding a physical exam. Didnu2019t feel my lymph nodes, listen to lung sounds, or anything. As someone who is in nursing school itu2019s ridiculous that all I got was swabbed for tests. The provider even stated that she was also sick with a URI and proceeded to not wear a mask or gloves when retrieving my nasal specimen. I felt incredibly rushed. I got the flu result back in the reasonable time however they didnu2019t even give me a copy of it with my receipt. I do not reccomend this clinic.

I've come here a few times, but the most recent visit, or rather lack thereof made me have to leave this review. I had called today, which was the day before thanksgiving, and asked how long they would be open. They said 6pm. Because of complications with getting a ride, I couldn't get there until just before 5, and that shouldn't have been a problem. When I got there, the door was locked, and the lights were off. There was no mention about closing early, and I'm being forced to suffer with my condition because of the lack of care available unless I go to the ER and use up their valuable time. This is unreasonable.

Iu2019ve been here twice when I knew I wouldnu2019t be able to get my 13 month old in for a sick visit with his pediatrician in a timely manner. Both times the staff was great, and we got in and out quickly. They were patient with him despite him being quite fussy and uncooperative due to ear pain. This last time in the office, he was seen by Linzi, and she did an amazing job. She was knowledgeable and helped both him and I both feel at ease. After she diagnosed the problem, and called him in some medicine, he was back to his normal, non-fussy, happy self sooner than expected.

I'm out of town and needed urgent care. The people in this office including the doctor was great. Thank you for your kindness and understanding my needs. It's nice to know when I'm in Sylva I have a place to go for medical care.
