Most of the nurses really do care, itu2019s the lack of communication across the board, particularly at shift change. When my father was in trauma care, it was a different doctor, sometimes everyday and even when he was in ICU, I felt like I was talking to a different doctor everyday who wasnu2019t particularly fully knowledgeable of my fatheru2019s situation. Like I said, a lot of the nurses care but some were very unprofessional and rude. I understand some families can be difficult for the nurses but it is a profession the nurses chose. For the nurses please be more patient with us. I am a police officer so I know how seeing very disturbing things becomes the norm but please put yourself in the shoes of the family. Important things to note to owners: lack of communication between shifts and doctors, seems like the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing a lot of the times, better resources when it comes to stroke patients, my experience with the knowledge the doctors had of my dadu2019s condition was extremely worrisome to say the least. Customer service training for nurses. Good notes: most of the nurses and doctors do care and are extremely nice. You can see that a lot them go out of their way to make sure their patients are comfortable. I did want to give you 3 stars but I feel like the system, not the staff, failed my dad.

I recently had a procedure at DHR Hospital, and I couldnu2019t be more impressed with the level of care I received. From the doctor to the nurses and all the staff, everyone was incredibly professional, kind, and attentive. They made me feel comfortable, informed, and truly cared for throughout the entire experience. This was by far the best care Iu2019ve ever receivedu2014DHR is truly top-notch. Highly recommend to anyone needing medical care!

I thought this was going to be another hurry up and wait. I was wrong. Within 10 minutes my wife was processed and 10 minutes later she was in her own room and meeting the RN. Within 30 minutes two doctors had come talked to her, another RN started an IV and some medicine. Blood drawn and test completed by 2-1/2 hrs. Doctor came in with prognosis, RN came in with another dose of medicine. Doctor came back in and said she would be released with prescriptions. The RN named Alexis was excellent at explaining and comforting. Dr. Raja ( donu2019t know about spelling) had excellent communication and bedside manner. Dr Akala exuded knowledge and excellent beside manner and investigative questioning. We were released 3-1/2 hours after arriving. Wow, am I glad we came here instead of 24/7 ER.

Unfortunately, my experience with DHR Hospital has been overwhelmingly negative. While the facility itself is clean and well-maintained, the level of patient care leaves much to be desired. The staff is unprofessional and, despite being somewhat short-staffed, they fail to provide even basic care for their patients.nnI have had both my father-in-law and grandmother admitted to this hospital, and in both cases, they were neglected. They were not bathed during their stay, and overall, their needs were not properly attended to. A hospital should prioritize the well-being and dignity of its patients, but that does not seem to be the case here.nnI sincerely hope that DHR takes action to improve its patient care standards because cleanliness alone does not make up for poor treatment. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone seeking attentive and compassionate medical care.
