Dr Garcia is 100% the best MD I have encountered. Stopped the pain, found the problem and has developed a follow up plan. The hospital staff were professionals and you had the feeling they really cared ! I have zero complaints!

Unethical billing practices!! Went for a routine preventative screening and canu2019t complain about staff and doctor. BUT ended up getting a huge bill after because my insurance covered almost none of the costs. Horrible insurance plan. My issue with the medical center is that I tried talking with the financial department before the scheduled procedure to try to find out what my financial responsibilities would be and couldnu2019t even get a hold of anyone. Left messages and no one would call back. Iu2019ve never had a routine procedure in a hospital before but every medical office will work with the insurance company, give codes so a pre authorization can be obtained. This hospital does not help patients in any way to figure out their costs BEFORE a procedure then slaps them with a huge bill after. Very unethical!

Had a very positive experience with everyone who assisted me . Dr . Martin (urologist) and Dr. Curt Myers ( anesthesiologist) are very understanding , compassionate and best of all have a great sense of humor.

Broken foot on vacation visit: After reading the reviews in the waiting room AFTER we had checked in I was concerned that my wife's broken foot was going to be an all nighter experience in this small mountain hospital away from our home in Florida. I googled other nearby hospitals and considered a back up plan if we waited for hours... All nearby hospitals have a 2.x review on Google! Locals told us it would be long and maybe not excellent. They also said that the nearestdecent hospital is in Chattanooga! Much to our surprise our experience was typical to our ER back home. The whole visit was 3 hours and the staff repeatedly apologized for the delay. They has several severe cases that night that we saw walk in so it was understandable. The intake administrator and nurse Christina were excellent! They all did the best they could with their limited staff capacity. Thank you!

Everybody in this area should be thankful that we have a hospital in our community to go to, especially in an emergency. When these hospitals close, all healthcare services in the community can disappear. More than 100 rural hospitals have closed over the past decade, and more than 600 additional rural hospitals u2014 nearly 30% of all rural hospitals in the country u2014 are at risk of closing in the near future. It's a hospital, not the Ritz Carlton and there is so much hard work that goes on behind the scenes that no one is aware of; not to mention being habitually short-staffed. Your life maybe depend on being transported to a hospital in minutes versus 30 minutes. So try to be more appreciative, the staff deserves our admiration and gratitude. There will always be people in any profession that could have a better attitude, but most of the staff I met at this hospital were more than generous and kind. I would like to express my gratitude to Eric, respiratory therapist, for taking the time to explain and being exceptionally nice; you're a real gem - as well as RN, Brittany. Thank you!As an addendum to the above review 11/8/23: I have personally paid over 5K to this hospital (above the insurance payment) since my admission date back in June and had a remaining 800.00 which I put on a four-month auto payment plan (my last payment is this month, November). I have received a call every month from the hospital collection partner (TruBridge) acting as I haven't set up the auto payment plan and asking me to provide payment details so they can apply payment. I want this to stop! I have done nothing wrong but pay the hospital what I owe. And you lose a star for the harassment.
