We have used this location twice for both my sons for an elbow dislocation and wrist fracture. Both times were great experiences. We were seen quickly, communicated with professionally, and the doctors are very calm and helpful. They give great advice and inform well enough to make good decisions moving forward. I had to visit the ER recently due to an emergency and I cannot praise the team enough for their care and professionalism. From the moment I arrived, the staff was compassionate, efficient, and reassuring. The doctor (Dr. Rena Slayer and I canu2019t recall the nurses name due to how high my anxiety was but she was amazing as well) took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the process. They acted swiftly and with great care, making what could have been a stressful situation much easier to handle. Thank you to the entire team for their outstanding service and kindness during my visit u2014 you truly made a difference in my experience! 10/10 recommend this ER!

While the nurses and receptionist were friendly, we felt our concerns fell on deaf ears. Dr. Brooks stated that because he didnu2019t hear our baby cough, it was not severe enough to recommend treatment and to u201cjust keep doing what youu2019re doing.u201d We wouldnu2019t be there if our methods were successful; sheu2019s been sick for over a week now. He didnu2019t see the coughing attack she was having in the lobby prior to being called back. I will continue to follow up solely with my pediatrician as his bedside manner is very apparently subpar. Weu2019ll take our business elsewhere and recommend others do the same.

My son took two fast pitches to the elbow & it wasnu2019t looking good. Stopped in at My Emergency Room & they were able to put my mind at ease after an x-ray showed no fracture.nnGoing to emergency room is never something that you hope to do, but if you need one, I recommend My Emergency Room in San Marcos. The staff was friendly & helpful.
