My son has spent months receiving medical treatment at Nationwide Childrenu2019s Hospital and they provide superb medical treatment and care. The medical staff, doctors, and nurses have an excellent bedside manner, take time to answer questions, and make you feel heard. The medical team at the colorectal unit is absolutely fantastic and I feel blessed that they take the time to care for my sonu2019s medical conditions. They are absolutely amazing.

Very greedy company. Took our daughter there in the early am, because nothing else was open. They took and X-ray and saw nothing. Twisted her wrist and fixed the issue all in 10 minutes. Bill came back after insurance for over $2,000. We disputed and they came back and said, we believe you were charged a fair amount. After I was on with customer service and they stated, We are the only children's hospital around, we can charge what we want. It is a shame we have this monopoly around us.

The best hospital. My son had to stay multiple nights for a respiratory virus. Everyone from PCAs to nurses to doctors to housekeeping staff was outstanding! Explained what was going on in an easy to understand way for someone who isnu2019t familiar to the medical field. Very kind, knowledgeable and helpful! Seriously everything was excellent. I canu2019t say enough great things about this hospital. I am grateful this is where my kids get to go when theyu2019re sick. I know theyu2019re in the best hands.

Extremely long wait times and not child-friendly at all.I understand that emergencies can cause delays, but seriously u2014 every time we come here, we wait 4 to 8+ hours just to see a doctor? This is supposed to be an ER, especially for a children's hospital?First visit: Our 4-day-old newborn was having seizure-like episodes. We waited nearly 7 hours to see a doctor. Thankfully, it wasn't an actual seizure, but imagine if it had been u2014 we could have lost her. They also had us sitting in the main lobby with all the other sick kids, no isolation for a fragile newborn, and no nursing rooms available. It is completely unacceptable for a childrenu2019s hospital.Second visit: Our 2-year-old injured her hand. We waited 3 hours just for an X-ray, and after 4 hours, we still hadnu2019t seen a doctor. We finally gave up, went home, and Googled how to interpret the scan ourselves.Third visit (right now): My 2-year-old is suffering from heat exhaustion u2014 102.5u00b0F fever and vomiting, and she can't keep fluids down. We arrived around 11 PM; she was given Tylenol and... weu2019ve been waiting ever since. Itu2019s now 2 AM. No doctor. No real updates. My child is getting worse, exhausted, and dehydrated while we sit in the lobby. This is beyond frustrating and heartbreaking. This place is not equipped for real emergencies, especially when it comes to young children.

This is the second time we've had to go to this joke of a hospital. My wife has had 2 c-sections in which we've had to be transferred to Children's and both times it has been an absolutely joke. The C4C floor is literally just people wanting a check. With the exception of literally 3 nurses that would actually care about the kids. They're always understaffed. They never want to work with the babies to help them get better. They only ever want to do whatever is the easiest and quickest way to care for the babies and if they're not getting better quickly then just give them a tube and be done with it. My wife and I are very understanding and we get that stuff can happen but it has literally been twice with absolutely crap for bedside manners and then they don't even do there job. An example is my son was projectile vomiting and instead of turn him on his side so it decreases the chance of aspyxiation they just left him on his back. Now we taking backward steps when he was doing good and getting better and now we're pretty much back to square one. Children's hospital is suppose to be the very best hospital for everyones children but it's by far the absolute worst. Here we are 6 days later and still nobody has reached out and now there causing my son to back step even more. This just proves my point even more so about how this hospital is nothing but a big fat joke who quite frankly don't deserve any kind of business. Once again nurses not listening to the patients, there not wanting to do there jobs. They want the quickest way possible do they don't have to do anything. Honestly I'd rather take my son to another hospital that has the staffing and actually want to work with my kid. This is absolutely bull crap and everything about this hospital needs restrained and reminded that these babies and children are people's bundles of joy that need adequate attention and help to grow and get stronger. Which this hospital absolutely doesn't do.
