They love denying children medicine. They take the deny, delay and defend tactic to the extreme! They do anything in their power to not pay for healthcare. They don't care either. They would rather a child not receive required medicine prescribed by their doctor than have to pay.

Just awful. They have outsourced their customer service abroad. They can barely speak English. The online premium payment system is not operating most of the time.nnAvoid BCBS NC if at all possible.

Terrible claim service , terrible customer service (calls routed to POORLY TRAINED CSRS in the Philippines with terrible english speaking skills) won't pay claims even after multiple corrections and submissions! Still waiting for assistance, patient has since passed away!!! Advise Medicare beneficiaries to steer clear of this company's MAP.

WORST INSURANCE COMPANY I'VE EVER DEALT WITH IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!! Horrible customer service, will not cover anything!! Everything is a prior authorization, quantity limits & a complete nightmare! We pay out of pocket for mostly everything!!

Extremely disappointed with the combination of Ble Cross customer service and their mail order pharmacy Weldyne.nnWeldyne had a 1.5 star customer rating from the only location I found. My experience was less than that.nnI called BC to complain about Welldyne and they did the same thing Welldyne did.nnThey told me that I am not allowed to reach them using my own credentials! I must pretend to be my wife and use her social sec number and phone number and blamed it on HIPAA laws.nnBut, their phone system recognizes me and calls me by name.nnMisrepresenting laws and refusing to talk to me about my life saving medicines can never be justified and no I don't want to learn your rigid process or hear you blame HIPAA.nnHIPAA extends to the individual, not only the person who is the primary on the account.nnToo old to have my 80 yr old mom call for me each time I need to discuss my health or request clarifications on out of pocket concerns and accounting entries that appear as reversals.
