Let me begin with if you have a medical issue you want addressed, I would NOT come here!When I arrived with my 92 year old Grand Father to get a UTI test done, we were met with a locked door and horrible customer service. A woman came to unlock the door, and before we could even enter the building she snapped at us asking what insurance we had, because they probably won't take it. She had us stand there awkwardly after this question, when I then asked her to check. I handed her my Grand Father's insurance card and then she disappeared with it and left us at the desk. Upon our return she said were checking your insurance, you need to be patient. Mind you, we were, and we were the only clients in the whole lobby. After a half an hour of zero acknowledgement or update, I went to the desk again and she said they were on the phone with insurance, so i sat back down to wait. Meanwhile, a man who seems to run the place, is very much more concerned with getting Christmas decor out and chatting with his employees on the side ~ it was insane!!! After a bit I checked in again, only to hear there's no progress, so I asked for the insurance card and they tell me they're still on hold.Needless to say, my 92 year old Grand Father left without the care he needed, and they never even told us if they accepted his insurance or not. The staff were extremely dismissive and didn't seem to give a hoot about caring for those in need, but rather ignoring us and acting like half asleep zombies. They also locked us in when we came in, then had to escort us out and lock the door again. What the hell is happening here? Do you just not want clients?I think a call to the BBB is absolutely in order and I'm not hesitating.I DO NOT RECOMMEND BRINGING ANYONE YOU CARE ABOUT TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT!! THEY DO NOT CARE NOR WANT TO HELP! Absolutely pathetic.

I donu2019t even want to give this place 1 star!! Read the reviewsu2026.Make the drive to Sherwood. This place tried to screw us and take money for something they never did. They are not in network with insurances. They are in a college town with young adults that arelearning how insurance works and they tell patients nothing about co pays or financials. They have terrible customer service and arenu2019t willing to work with you or explain a bill to you. So frustrating when you have to go to second urgent care cause these guys donu2019t diagnose correctly or care.

I went it already knowing I had the flu the week prior, I know that I have a habit of getting bronchitis whenever I get super sick, and I know what I usually take. Well this was the first and last time Iu2019ll ever go to this location, the only person who seemed like they knew anything was the nurse taking my vitals. She took my vitals, then still proceeded to test me for the flu which surprise surprise came back positive. The doctor never even came in the room with me just cracked the door, told me what he was prescribing me and left. After all that was said and done they sent some lady who Iu2019m convinced isnu2019t even a real nurse because when she was going over the prescriptions with me she told me word for word u201cthis oneu2019s to make it betteru201d and that was the most intelligent sentence she could put together. Iu2019ve never been so astounded by the lack of professionalism and knowledge in a medical setting. Not to mention I went right at opening and 2 tests and cracking a door took TWO hours.DO BETTER

According to the website Newberg Urgent Care is dedicated to providing timely, quality medical services. What a joke.Avoid this place! There are better urgent cares in Newberg and Sherwood.We arrived well before closing and the door was locked. Some outdated COVID signs were on the door. When we tried to call to get in an old, crackly voice said we have seen our last patient for the day. We needed urgent care (you know, urgent).The lack of empathy is very obvious here. They just don't care.If you have a problem take a pill or take a drive, but donu2019t stop here!
