This was my first timenAt this Urgent Care and I was so impressed fromnThe moment I called on the telephone and the pleasant voice telling me that even though it was Memorial Day I could stillnCome in and the wait would be about 30 minutes. I told her my name and said I would be right over As I entered a pretty young lady handed me a few pages to fillnOut and then a young man, very nice and caring weighed me? Took mynHeight my vitals and within 2 minutes a sweet PA came in and examined my wound told me what I needed and prescribed meds. We chatted a bit and it was short and sweet but everything was done in a professional manner and nownI have my new Urgent Care while living in Newport Beach, not waiting in an emergency room for hours

I had a very disappointing experience at this clinic. It was winter, and I was on a business trip nearby when I suddenly felt really unwell u2014 ear pressure, sore throat, and overall flu-like symptoms. I went in for a same-day visit and saw a short Asian female doctor. I clearly requested to be tested for flu or COVID, as my symptoms were obvious, but she insisted it wasnu2019t necessary.nnInstead, she glanced at my ear briefly and diagnosed me with a middle ear infection (otitis media). She then asked if I had insurance u2014 and once I said yes, she prescribed multiple medications, including 10 days of antibiotics for sinusitis and a few others that didnu2019t make much sense to me. It made me wonder: do doctors in the U.S. get any kind of benefit from prescribing more meds?nnMy symptoms only got worse over the next two days, so I went to a major hospital near my home u2014 there, I was properly tested and diagnosed with influenza A (flu). There was no ear infection at all.nnIu2019m sharing this to warn others: please be cautious when choosing to get treated here. In my experience, the doctor lacked proper diagnostic judgment and gave unnecessary treatment. Always get a second opinion if something feels off.

I called to see if they accepted our insurance. They asked for my info, looked through their system, & yes they do. I told them my problem u2014 both my hubby & I were very sick with various flu symptoms. I explained that we are both elderly & I have a compromised immune system so was concerned about a crowd. They said it was quiet at that time & we could come right away & be seen. We got there within 20 minutes & there was no waiting. The paperwork took longer than the actual provider visit. They were all SOOOO nice! They are kind, patient, efficient, professional, & I would highly recommend them. FYI - I have refused to go to urgent care for years because of such horrible experiences but this visit has changed my mind. I will go to Newport Urgent if/when needed. Thank you Paloma & Renee for your excellent care!!

This was the first time visiting the Newport U C. The service was very fast. The ladies were very nice. The nurse was great. The doctor was amazing. I would recommend this urgent care over any other u.c. or emergency room. You will be satisfied I'm sure. I definitely was.

The man who helped me was so calm with me, so patient. When I asked him to let me know when to take a deep breath he did, & it helped me relax so much. He did such an amazing job! The front staff was also very lovely! The man who helped me, his name is Juan. 10/10 recommend :)
