I was in a car accident on 2/21/23 and taken to HCAnFlorida Northwest, while my friend was taken to Broward Health North and placed in the ICU. On 2/23/23 i returned to Florida Northwest and chest x-ray revealed a fractured rib. On 2/25/23 I was admitted to Broward Health North 5th floor for respiratory distress.nI have been a nurse for more than 60 years and my nurses Ann Marie and Brittany were exceptional, supportive, encouraging nurses that directed me the entire time I was in the hospital. Brittany also sent me home with discharge instructions and the importance of picking up my medical records before flying home to New Jersey for follow up care with my doctors.nThe doctors, nurses, nurses aids, dietician, respiratory therapist and physical therapist were part of the best health care team I have ever experienced.
